Most reasonable people, when using the term "counting stats," are referring to points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks. Field goal percentage is not a counting stat. And I didn't say that Sabonis' numbers weren't higher, I said they were "close." Since when is 5.1 not close to 6.3? Most people would consider that to be an acceptable margin of difference between two players on teams that are seven and a half games apart in the standings.
