Jalen Green has been on fire in 2025 and whenever he scores 30+ Houston wins at the end (8-0). Rockets won at Denver with the Nuggets missing Jokic, Denver had a very weird record, 8-0 in second nights of backtoback matches so far (OKC has 7-0 I think) but ok it would be tough to make it 9-0 withou their superstar.
Eason has been missing for Houston for quite some time, Jabari Smith as well so Amen has become a starter and making things quite hard for their opponents each time. They have 5 wins in a row (best in the NBA at the moment after Pacers and Kings lost their matches yesterday) and I think in their opinion they are looking for revenge after their last defeat that to them was due to the officiating. There was the 6th foul at Sengun, followed by Udoka ejection, Eason wanting to attack someone at the stands... stuff like that.
Also Adams has become part of the rotation the past month or so and he has been decent getting many rebounds but not really doing anything else in the offensive part. Reed Sheppard has lost his place in the rotation by Aaron Holiday that is a much better defender and Cam Whitmore now spends much time on the floor because of Eason/Jabari injuries, and Jae'sean Tate meets all the criteria of a player that doesn't really shoot the ball well from the 3pt line, doesn't average many points but against the Kings he can have the match of his life.
In the first match (that Kings won 120-111) Kings were down from the start but there was an argument with Jabari Smith I think and Fox, it made Fox angry and Kings hit 15 shots in a row after that taking the lead and keeping it till the end that those ejections took place (in the last minute, but Kings were way up ahead already). The past two years the Rockets want to act like "Bad Boys" playing tough or too tough, but usually the refs don't tolerate those stuff when they play outside Houston.
