lol this Robbins kid someone’s son or something? No clue what he’s doing on an NBA floor.
He managed to get enough money from the NBA Cup to buy his mom a house in Iowa I believe, it was a story written in Greek media that since the Cup matches started, Giannis promised him that and after every game he was reminding him that "1 game closer to buy a house" and so on...
Never saw him play before to be honest.

the moral of the story is to not let Dame hit three straight threes on you early in the game whilst also having AJ Green bomb all his shots like Prime Curry all within the first ten minutes.
Hmmm that's eye opening. They still found a way to outscore their opponents in the latter half of the game. They just couldn't erase the early-game deficit.

The Bucks are a really tough matchup for us. Their greatest strength (Giannis) just so happens to line up with our biggest weakness (not having a big, long, athletic PF that can defend and space the floor). Not to mention having a very big, long C (Lopez) and another big, long PF (Portis) compounds that size/length issue more for us.
I actually thought Keegan did well against Giannis. We probably should have gone to that earlier.

Giannis is so hard to guard because it takes 3 steps for him to get to the basket from the perimeter and then he is so strong that he is likely to get fouled. Kings tried sagging off him early but he made every mid range shot. He also passed out of the post well and his shooters made the threes when they counted. That’s why a team with him on it is always in contention

Agree. Actually wish DC would have made that switch much sooner. Domas on Giannis wasn’t going well for us. I don’t think we switched to Keegan until the 4th quarter and he did really well on him.

That first quarter was brutal.

The Kings held Giannis pretty close to his averages. It was the fact that Lopez and Dame hit tough shots that sealed it. Keon did about as good as you could on Dame and it didn't matter much of the time.

that’s interesting, he’s from Davenport home of Ricky Davis, hadn’t even heard of him. Talk about good luck landing on the team that wins the cup and you get a check that will likely exceed your nba career earnings.

yep. Problem is when reach the play-offs you have a lot of teams like that.

Yeah, he didnt get the full paycheck. two-way players got half the amount if I remember correctly but it would be enough.

Kings had a 122.7 defensive rating over 2 games. Washington is last at 118.6.

the roadtrip was very good. But our defense these last two games was not good.
Huerter defensive rating today would be close to 200. Still he is not the one to blame for the lose. At one point in Q1 he was playing something like point guard for 3-4 possessions in a row.
Kevin, Lyles and Carter at some point were the only ones with double digit negative +/- and we were down by 25 or something.
