It's possible that you still wouldn't want those players anyway, though.
It is very likely that the vast majority of the NBA players would respond to the mantra, "give them the money and they will come" (to Sacramento). Consider DeRosan in this category.
However, there are other players who have enough money to last for generations that want a winning legacy and would rather be on a potential winning team. Think Fox in this scenario.
Finally, a few players will eschew the money and legacy but refuse to play in a toxic organization that has the potential to bring them down and interfere with their professional goals. Siakam might be a player with this issue.
Into this cauldron there are the agents (Klutch) pushing players this way and that depending on how it affects their own business model.
