Mister Slim Says: Kings finally held an opponent to poor three-point shooting, but they shot even worse, and once again squandered a late lead, as the Grizzlies became a better team after being shed of the dead weight that was Ja Morant, who was arguably the Kings' second-best player last night. Fox, Murray and Huerter all had great-to-good performances on the defensive end but were all staggeringly bad shooting the basketball. Now the Kings get to play their third game in four nights, and against a team that has had their number this season. With Wembenyama's status still in question as of this writing, the Kings may have an opportunity to get healthy with scoring in the paint, but if San Antonio unleashes another three-point barrage, Kings Fans can probably expect more of what they've seen in the first two matchups.
