The Blazers on ball pressure and paint packing is really hurting the Kings. Might be a wise idea to enter the ball into the side post a little more. Make them commit on that help.

I think first time we go with a whole soccer lineup of players in the first half this season. Not sure if it works for us though.
Sabonis the only one "producing" in attack but those turnovers of his cost us again and again no matter what Kayte says that sometimes they are not "exactly" turnovers.
Btw Domas is the player that has the more fouls the past 4 years in the league (I remember that was the case 2 years ago when NBA was trying to stop the Kings from thriving in the West and Domas was posting those videos with NBA officials going mad after every Kings win), with a wide margin from McDaniels that is 2nd. Today at least he seems not to get in foul trouble having only 1 foul, and it was a "moving screen" sort of getting Camara with his elbow.

Unserious half from the Kings. If they think they're going to win by just showing up because they have better talent, they maybe in for a rude awakening. The score is close because the Blazers can't hit a three. Kings don't seem to have a convincing answer for the ball pressure from the Blazers. Too much dribbling around the three point line. Can we have some play calls, please?

One good quarter is enough to pull this out. Wake up, Kings.

That might have merit if 11 of the 14 turnovers weren’t from Fox, Sabonis and Monk who have played together for 2.5 years.
Did all eleven of their turnovers come from them dribbling the ball off their feet and/or trying to pass to each other? Or could some of them have come from trying to pass to a teammate who didn't know when/where to expect the ball?

Disappointing but not surprising. When the Kings gamble they usually lose. Gambling on low percentage, lazy 3's on one end, and steals on the other started this slide. Again.

Why do our guards keep trying to avoid touching Isaac’s outlet passes? That’s like the third turnover we’ve had where a guy just sorta watches Isaac’s pass to them sail out of their reach

I think the full court press the Blazers have put on all game has them really out of rhythm and they almost don't want the ball. Credit to Portland, they've made even getting up the floor a challenge.

Exactly. Thought we would have the counter by now but apparently we're just winging it out there. Add in those lazy unforced errors as they had to think up plays on the spot instead of executing practiced plays, it doesn't look pretty.

Domas grinding here. Without DeRozan the Kings might have to rely on the quick hitters tonight. These are the types of games where him being out is noticed big time.
