Mister Slim Says: Improbably, the Kings have not yet been eliminated from the "We Gettin' Arab Money" Cup, but they are no longer in control of their own destiny. They need to win tonight and they need the gd lakers to lose their Group B matchup versus the Thunder to remain alive. Portland is the second-straight struggling opponent that the Kings will play as they try to get back to .500. Kings killer Jerami Grant is listed as doubtful as of this writeup, and they're almost as bad at shooting threes as Sacramento. Teams tend to get hot from outside against the Kings but, if Sacramento can protect the paint like they usually do, that should be good enough to beat the Trail Blazers team. And, with any luck, seeing his brother across the court will wake Keegan Murray out of his funk.

I was really hoping to see Clingan and of course the twin. I'll get my chance in February, or if I go to another game and sit in cheap seats.

They're really trying to set the trap.
I know and that was always going to be the positive spin if the Kings blew it was I at least got to see the Blazers promising young kids and 3 of them (ok nobody seems that high on Murray here) are out. Plus 3 of the other actual NBA players on the roster.

Met Doug Christie shook his hand and exchanged fist bumps and light the beams. Watching the guys shoot around now.
if you are close to the kings bench try yelling out Mike’s signature lines to see if you can get a rise out of the players:

“Imma need you to be physical without fouling!”

“Touch the paint and spray”

“alright guys we are going to need you to play defense for as close to 48 minutes as posssible”.

“Let it fly!”

“He’s a hot guy!”

Maybe leave the last one out ;)

Really hoping they come out focused and prepared with very little to no hangover from the holiday. Win this one to be sure the Wolves win isn’t just another example of “getting up” for the opponent. That win means so much more if you take care of business tonight. I’m also hoping for a big game from Keegan, specifically on offense.
