Maybe don't start Heurter and play him so much.

Edit. Start Keon and tell the Jamal to ride someone else's nuts.
Modcheck: Can i tell this guy where to stuff it, or will it get me banned? He's been trying to bait me for days on something I've clearly clarified my position on and seems to get away with personal attacks.

Go check the "Who should start at SG" thread you.... word I can't say on a forum I want to keep posting on. I clearly said Keon should start. I've never wavered on that position.

Well, there's plenty of season left but the Kings are already 1/4 the way to 32 in the loss column and it's not even Chistmas time yet. Not panic time, but certainly time to start dialing in and stop messing around early jacking shots.

Kings have to become more balanced offensively & that's primarily on the coaching staff in my opinion ... It's easy to say outside of the Big 3/4, guys aren't giving much offensively. But outside of the Big 4, the next couple guys highest FGA are 5, 4, and 3 ... Compare that to the Clippers who had EIGHT players shoot 6+ times including 6 guys shoot 8+ times.

Ellis, Lyles, and Huerter need to be more aggressive & get shots off, AND the ball has to swing more, AND Coach Brown has to up the bench's minutes a bit to not wear down starters as stated before.

Specifically Ellis shooting 3 times in 16 minutes is ridiculous following his offensive explosion last game - It's on him to be aggressive yes (I remember 1 time he had Harden 1 on 1 on fast break and pulled it back - He can't do that) and it's also on the team itself to swing the ball more to get some shots for him. Too many times he's just chilling in the corner on sets. With Monk out, he has to let it fly more.

LOL. Deuce just told Morgan that she was still young, the last time the Kings scored less than 30 points in a half. He's not going to hear the end of this
I mean, he's not wrong. He'll be sleeping on the couch for that, but he's not wrong.

He maybe could have pulled off the save if he'd gone full Hedberg: "You were young back then... I mean, you're still young, but you were young then, too."

Yeah, they do, but in the interim they need to become more singular in their attack. Ride that pick and roll and build off of it. The Kings best plan of attack is to let Fox and DDR go to work at this point. If and when the chemistry starts rolling and the Kings rip off a win streak then they can start having fun and gambling. Right now they are trying to manufacture it and it's costing them.

I wouldn’t go that far. They are 10-7. They are one of the best defensive teams in the league and they have the best foul merchant in the game who is also really good at driving and kicking for open threes. Couldn’t over come that
Clippers are a good team led by a great coach. They had a substandard game and yet won in a blowout. If it was a close loss, I would be ok but doing things right to make a comeback and going away from it voluntarily to make the same mistakes doesn't inspire confidence.

1) Awful bench without Monk playing. Arguably worst in the league
2) We have two starters in Keegan and Huerter who have been awful this season
3) Lackluster leadership on the court. Fox has never been a leader and Sabonis hasn’t gotten on guys as much as he has in other seasons
I disagree with the Fox part and I’m pretty sure there’s no way you’d know that about Sabonis for sure

The problem is you have staunchly supported Heurter. That was your downfall.

Don't modcheck just because you make a bed you don't wanna sleep in. That's on you

Weak.

SOS is kind of just worthless this year. West teams get the shaft, East teams get the cupcake schedule. Notice how every West team is in the top 15 and every East team is in the bottom 15. And I don't think our travel schedule has been easy at all, with 2 road B-B, an incredibly stupid ATL-TOR B-B and then back to Miami. Pretty sure we had a 5in 7 thrown in there too.
yes and no. Of the bottom 4 teams in the west and the east we have played 5 times
Utah - 3-12 played 2 games
Toronto - 4-12 played 2 games
Por - 6-10 1 games

of the 4 teams in the top of the west and east: GS, OKC, Hou, LAL. Bos, Cle, NY, Orlando

we have played 1 time.

we have a lot of tough games coming up and we currently sit 12th in the west. Also, if I could count San Antonio we would have played 6 v 1 the worst v best teams but we are in the bottom 4 and can’t play ourselves.

My advice would be don't take the bait...

Generally it's best if someone is trying to get under your skin and get a reaction out of you to just not let it bother you. Stick to making basketball arguments and not statements about other poster's character and I don't think you'll have any issue with the mods. One of us will step in when/if we think it's appropriate and warn people but it probably will be handled with a private message not out in public. We don't want to tell people they're wrong for having an opinion we don't necessarily agree with -- as long as it's about basketball and not something off topic or just deliberately spiteful.

The_jamal-ypu defended Heurter as he was. You did NOT state he was played incorrectly. That is my molehill and I will die on that. You just made your presence known when he had a good game. You NEVER said he should come off the bench.

I'll double check your claim no doubt

Yup and 3 days off ain’t always the best thing
This team has never done well coming off an extended break and yet all the schedule makers give us is compact schedules and long breaks it seems. Like no every other night with an occasional two. And I think this is because they prioritize TV teams and we‘re afterthoughts but no idea if I can prove this.
