Mister Slim Says: The Pacific Division is the only division in the NBA with no teams below .500, so expect this to be a tough game. This is pretty much a "must win," in terms of the "We Gettin' Arab Money" Cup. There's virtually no shot to make it out of the group if the Kings start 0-2 in pool play. On the road, with a most likely unfriendly whistle, against the league's preeminent foul merchant, the Bearded Hag™, aka James Harden. On the plus side, Kings are expected to get back DeMar DeRozan and Domantas Sabonis, both having missed the last two games with back injuries. On the minus side, the Clippers are expected to be without Kawhi Leonard and this season's leading scorer, Norm Powell, so you know what that means...

A few games ago Fox was given the direction from an assistant coach to penetrate into the key at least 25 times a game, with the notion of passing or scoring once he got into the lane. He proceeded to score 60 in the game, 49 in the following game.

In the last game Keon Ellis had the realization that he shouldn't defer so much to his team mates and be much more aggressive with his shot. He proceeded to score 33 points, making 9 out of 15 three point attempts.

Basketball is as psychological of a game, as it an athletic game. A flip of the switch caused by the information imparted from a coach or from one's own thought process can radically alter one's shooting performance. Essentially, an altering of mental outlook can make all the difference. I'm looking for the Kings' coaching staff to impart some critical information to Keegan Murray to make all the difference. Frankly, it shouldn't have taken this long for the Kings' coaching staff to have instructed Fox to consistently penetrate into the key. I don't want the Kings' coaching staff to wait with Murray like they did with Fox. Make an intervention. Let him see the light. Alter his mental outlook. Just do it. Pronto.

7:30 starts are so ridiculous, but hopefully everyone can adjust to playing together again. Injuries really screw with momentum and chemistry but thankfully our guys haven’t missed a ton of time. We can beat this team and i think we will

I mean, you could be living on the East coast and constantly see 8p starts, so 7:30p ain't terrible by any stretch of the imagination.

Any team starting at 5pm in the Pacific time zone, 6pm in the Mountain time zone or 7pm in the Central time zone? Those would all be 8pm starts on the East Coast. Our home games typically start even later.
I think people questioning Qwerty were assuming he was talking local start times which aren't a thing to my knowledge except maybe with that weird start time gimmick they pulled the day before election day.

Yeah, outside of the blue-moon national TV game or a holiday schedule, games starting at 8pm local time isn't really a thing that happens.

Stay on the LAC shooters and protect the three. I don't care if they shoot 50% from the two.

If Harden is getting those ticky tacky foul calls, foul him hard. The strategy should be go harder and not back off from contact. Force Harden and the refs to recalibrate.

If DeMar is hot, don't set a fake screen and bring in an extra defender into his space. Let him cook on single coverage.
