Looks like Mason has a sprained AC joint. He's listed as day-to-day (aren't we all?) but with 10 days to recover I think there's a good chance he doesn't miss the next game.

Mustapha has a low ankle sprain and will also likely play the next game.

Wright sounds like he has a dislocated shoulder. The 49ers may need to audition more kickers.

Perhaps this has been said already, but it's hard to imagine this 49ers season going any worse with so many key injuries (our number #1 offensive weapon out indefinitely, only good DT out for the year, CB room depleted and inexperienced, #2 LB still recovering, Kicker injured, etc.) and end of game collapses and yet... look at the NFC West and somehow we're still in first after 6 weeks (with the tie-breaker over Seattle) and we're the only team in the division with a positive point differential.

Just getting all these guys back from injury by the end of the year plus our usual mid-season acquisitions (you can count on at least 1 edge rusher pickup, maybe we can get a half year rental DT, LB or OL too) and this could still be a really dangerous team by the end of the year. The weak areas are obvious to everyone -- and the O Line is especially frustrating because it seems like everyone except Shanahan and Lynch already knew that keeping McKivitz as a starter was going to be a problem -- but having a legit franchise QB rights a lot of wrongs and means we'll continue to be relevant. Given how bad things have been for 49ers fans in the recent past, I'm happy with relevant.

Purdy gives us a shot to stay in it. Let's just say a Jimmy G type would not

Burrow was the number one overall pick in his draft class, Brock Purdy was the last in his draft class. They both routinely make plays like this. Only one is considered elite while the other is considered a ‘checkdown merchant’ supported by his all-star teammates. Make it make sense.
