Let’s hope they didn’t hit on Dunn. He did hit 3 threes in their last game.

He’ll be a good rebuilding piece when the Suns trade Durant to the rockets next off season for Whitmore, Jabari and picks

Yeah, way too early to say, but Dunn and Ighodaro were two of my favorite prospects in this draft, especially for the draft slots where the Suns were picking. Dunn is 5-11 from three in 2 preseasons games. If he can just be league average from the corners he'll be a very useful piece for a Suns team that doesn't need any more real scoring help. Oso has flashed his passing ability and overall intelligent play. But he's either going to need to get stronger to be a full time big or become capable as a shooter to get consistent minutes. But he looks like he belongs already, which is pretty impressive for the 40th pick in a weak draft.

Scoot looking like the next D-Rose/John Wall/Fox/Ja-style super guard for two seasons and then immediately turning into Killian Hayes upon being drafted needs to be studied by the top schools in the Ivy League because this is NOT the same guy who went toe-to-toe with Wemby in those G-League showcase games just two seasons ago.

So my question is, did he really look that good, or was it just the hype train? Sure, he was on that train for kinda two years but there were extremely limited opportunities for us to see him in full-game action - there weren't a ton of Ignite game on TV and he was sitting out most of his second season with an injury. I personally hate highlight packages because they hide stuff like you find in this video. So I didn't have a good feel for him at draft time, figured that the consensus was probably right (it's usually close) but I was really going on other people's opinions.

And sometimes the hype train is just wrong. We all saw it very clearly last season with Bronny, but the funny thing is that you saw how relentless that hype train was even when it was blatantly obvious that the package didn't match the description. Think of Markelle Fultz, whose career as a journeyman PG was basically ruined by the hype train calling him a #1 overall pick for a year. I thought that one was pretty obvious too, but that train kept on a-rollin' and when he got to the NBA he had expectations he couldn't meet.

Maybe he never really looked that good and we just didn't know because we couldn't really see him play much.
