Maxey saves the Sixers season for one game at least, need Embiid to step up in Philly. He clearly has lazy eye and looked exhausted in the 4th

I'm only halfway paying attention to the game, and I thought that last shot was it. Then I double checked and was like, "Damn, there's still another quarter to go?"

thanks for that. that explains his flat footed shooting
I don’t think they’ve ever out and out announced his drop foot diagnosis but the way he runs definitely reminds me of how I ran when I had a chunk of loose cartilage stuck in the nerves in the back of my knee and had drop foot and his long history of bad leg injuries including the one that caused him to miss most of the year certainly isn’t dissuading me from armchair diagnosing it.

how did you end up with loose cartilage in the knee?

High school football my junior year (long story short it was a minor version of the C-Webb injury except where his cartilage just poofed and exploded, mine just chipped a chunk right into the nerves and muscles at the back of my knee). Spent all summer of my senior year rehabbing it only to get ANOTHER injury (MCL sprain) but the collision happened to somehow dislodge the cartilage from the danger zones in my knee so now it’s just been benignly floating around behind my kneecap for the last decade plus lol.
Needless to say, I can relate to the Harry Gileses and Embiids of the world haha

I tore my meniscus playing softball on fake grass about 10 years ago and it took 2-3 years for me to fully recover from that injury. There was a point in time at which I didn't think I would ever fully recover. Granted I did not get surgery so my recovery time was going to be longer than a surgical repair regardless but my understanding is that a surgical repair is worse for your long-term knee health. And a second surgical repair on the same knee followed by an accelerated recovery period is obviously much worse. Especially for a massive 280 pound human like Joel Embiid. It's not like the Sixers are set up to win a championship this year anyway and they have more cap space than any other team in the league opening up this summer. The most prudent course of action for both Embiid and the Sixers would be to let him rest and recover so that he doesn't shorten his playing career or suffer a catastrophic injury and just start planning for next season.

I guess going all in paid off for the Pacers. Kinda want to see how they do against a team that isn’t coached by Doc Rivers and missing a top five player in the league and featuring two other stat players with bad sounding lower leg injuries though.

Pacers are lucky they played Milwaukee with their superstar out and their other top 2 players Out or hobbled.

Giannis is lucky he won the one title. He is constantly injured and never mans up to play in playoff games when injured. Dude has continually left his team out to fend for themselves in the playoffs.

Could you imagine Magic, Bird, Shaq or Kobe sitting out a playoff elimination game? Like Shaq said, rub some Icy hot on them knees and get back out on the court!

Playoff Buddy the x factor in game 6?
Sixers down by 22 early in 1st, now took the lead a minute before halftime.
Knicks with more offensive than defensive rebounds, went 1/14 at some point during the 2nd quarter.

Patrick Beverly threw a ball at a fan, hitting him in the head. Wonder what kind of suspension he’ll get from Adam silver? I know Stern would have thrown the book at him.

You’re kidding me?

“Big Dom” got featured on the celebrity cam.

I was so confused when Greenlaw got into it with him and everybody was like “that’s Big Dom”

I was thinking Why does everybody know this guy?

Grant Hill had a proper reaction. No clue who the hell he was

I really want to root for the Knicks because I like a lot of their players and how they built this team…but it’s hard with all the damn fouling they get away with it.
