The tools are there but he has to do it every night, to the point where you are surprised when he doesn’t. The fact that he can perform in “playoff games” is really encouraging though. Both tonight and last year he has shown out
I want some stat guy to find out how many times in Curry's career he's had the ball stolen from him twice in a game by the the same opponent. It can't have been very many. Ellis was huge in this game. Those steals had to have been deflating to the Warriors.
Hammy's are notoriously tricky... and playing on a bad hammy can lead to more serious injury.....
Knowing Zion's long injury history, I don't know if the Pelicans will want to risk a bigger injury for Zion playing just 3 days from now against a Kings team they have already beaten 5-0 during the regular season..... I'm hoping Zion doesn't play

I'm pretty sure he's going to play. Both of our seasons are on the line. If this were a game in November, sure, rest him. But as it stands, the Kings have no answer for Zion, so it would be crazy to not kick the tires and see what he's got.

The fact that it was non contact and he left with the game tied with a few mins to go tells me it has to be serious. Otherwise, he would have gotten a quick rub and gone back in
Also, the only time in NBA history a player went scoreless against a team they once scored 37 points in a single quarter against.
Probably the last chance to trot out the “did you know Klay Thompson scored 37 points in one quarter” joke trivia. I think he’s heading east this summer,

They've got an opportunity to transform the view of the season, with a single win over a team that they're over due against. They've got little to lose on the road as a severe underdog
Agreed. You can turn a minor injury into a major year long injury by playing on it too soon, especially at Zion's size and weight. I'd be surprise if they risk it and put him out there on Friday.

The thing about hamstrings - the more you rely on it for your explosive movement, the more chance it (re) injures. Ask Chris Paul during the Rockets final. It can be a pernicious downward spiral type injury. In serious cases the injury can become plagueing or chronic.....
Credit to Mike Brown and Jordi Fernandez for the defensive scheme against the Warriors. Just snuffed out their three point game and covered Curry all game. Props to our defenders who stuck to the game plan and executed well.
