I watched my hockey team (college) lose the semifinal in OT last week and they challenged the goal just because they had their challenge unused. Why not just back pocket until it actually can swing the game?

Ouch I agree mate , using a challenge in that meaningless part of the game is big joke … especially when the chances the game to be decided with the last shot of the games are HUGE ….
