Even thought they won, this team need to learn to be mentally tough though. You can't miss free throws like that, not if you're Malik Monk! Not if you're an excellent free throw shooter.

Monk was a 90% FT shooter last year but this year he consistently misses dual free throws almost everytime you need it at the end of the game. He can’t make them when he is all pumped up.

kings can't keep missing free throws like this... they will lose at minimum 2 games in the playoffs because of free throws if they continue this bad free throw shooting

Monk % has gone down an appreciable and unsettling amount over the season....may hurt his salary raise a little.

Kings luck out with that FT performance - Wolves totally let this slip away
I suppose. Looked to me like the pre-Antman Timberwolves. I knew the Kings were going to win when they announced that Edwards was unavailable for the second half, because that meant their best remaining player was Big Sawfty, and that dude ain't leading nobody nowhere.

I didn't know they'd win, but certainly improved their chances a bunch

He’s so bad. I don’t get it. I think they trade him over the summer.

That was tense... what a match.
Monk and Sabonis were like the two opposites, Domas perfect in the first half when Monk struggled (just 4 points and some "saucy" passes that led to turnovers or bad shots from his teammates, and then in the 2nd half Domas stopped producing in the attack, I am sure he got frustrated also with the defense, refs and everything but Monk took over thanks to Gobert and well the rest is history.

KAT is by far the dirtiest player I have ever seen and he got zero flagrant fouls against him. If KAT was playing in the Kings he would have been ejected in this match, no doubt!

That lost challenge for the Kings... should be the worst call of the season for the refs. It felt like facing the Lakers and Celtics combined today.

According to Doctor Internet, Edwards is not married. There also appears to be some speculation as to whether or not the woman giving birth is his girlfriend.
Without googling, some months ago there were some DMs surfaced for Edwards urging the mother of his child to "drop it" and he will take care of anything needed. No clue if this is the baby coming today.

yeah, that’s why I was surprised Kayte mentioned it at all. Felt like the Wolves were trying to be discreet about it to not have the internet going wild over it by listing him with an ankle injury but…

Shout out to Sabonis coming back into that game when he absolutely didn’t have to after Towns barreled his way into the lane for most of the game. My heart sank when Domas fell to the ground and slapped the court in agony.

The funny thing about this Kings squad, is that we likely get blown off of the floor taking on the wolves without Fox last season, as they were our Pelicans of this year. Now we seemed to have figured them out for the most part.

Kid has had it rough, so I'll let him live off the court but, on the court, he's every bit of the loser that people told me Cousins was.

What's crazy about Towns, though, is that he's so talented that there's no hope of Minnesota getting fair value in return for a trade. If they can, though, they should definitely try and get back the picks they gave up in the Gobert trade to move him.
