Fox with 11 steals in 2 games. Angry Fox is good Fox
As much as we rely on him as a scorer, his impact on the game defensively is where he truly shines as an All-Star caliber player to me. I don't know what's up with him and his fluctuating effort level throughout the season, but he's a real bulldog on defense when he wants to be. It's game-changing stuff when he's getting this many deflections and steals and pulling in key rebounds.

Brown didn’t do anything wrong. We went cold, Chicago got hot. Not that hard to understand.
No,
The Kings needed a dress-down - they had had 3 turnovers in a row right around the 30 pt lead and needed steadying - instead laissez-faire from Brown.. Everything was going in, but they needed someone to tell them to slow down and take it steady - didn't happen and they got into a tail-spin.
That's what timeouts and substitutions are for.

If that turnover of Bulls in the last minute finished with a 3 pointer instead it was going to end in different way , so we got lucky with deserved win though …
Brown has his issues as every human being and there is nothing bad to discuss them …
Don’t know if you noticed but the last time out we took was mind the speaker and Brown sitting next to him listening ….

They keep mentioning the Adelman-Webber Kings never had a 7 game road trip where they won 5 games.

That may be true. However, I don’t think those Kings teams ever had such a long road trip. I think the standard back then was always 6 games. I was thinking before this road trip that it seemed especially long. I remember only the Spurs would have those ridiculously long road trips because of the rodeo taking over their building.

The 2001-2002 Kings did sweep a 6 game road trip and won 13 of their last 16 road games.

Thought for sure we were going to lose the game and then our collective minds immediately afterwards. Glad the basketball gods allowed us to escape with a win. It was ugly, we got tired, but a win is a win and it all counts the same whether it’s ugly or pretty.

I just noticed from the boxscore that Juan Toscano-Anderson was on the bench and actually entered the game at one point, very briefly. The front office waived him on Sunday. This would be his third ten-day contract, but to what purpose?

Fox hitting those 2 FTs was critical, and yes it was looking at least like overtime.......and certainly was ugly the 3rd Q. Put it this way, they won't be beating the Cavs with tonight's 3rd quarter replication. Silver lining was FTs though.

What makes Jordy a better coach? Our defense is bad.
I think the (very small) sample of 2 matches in Canada last season and Milwaukee the current one that Brown's ejection left him in charge and he turned things around both times only to lose at Milwaukee at the end with those free throws in OT
