I’m happy for Fox and Sabonis, they need time to spend with the little ones but it’s crazy we have no representation. Injury replacement could still be a thing
Huh. Well, Fox wasn't selected last year, either, and only got in as an injury replacement. I never even considered the possibility that Sabonis wouldn't get in.
Ya let them test and be Wii family **** the friendship all star nonsense no idea why anyone watches to begin with. And if they get a call because of injury they should tell no spine silver to **** off
I don't watch the all star game and usually wouldn't care, but I'm sure it matters to the players and Sabonis deserves it more than AD and KAT for sure. Just no rhyme or reason this year I guess.
I think Fox is probably 13/14 this year. His last month has been fair to bad. (Speaking of AS caliber players). Sabonis should have been in the first reserves. He’s 7th on MVP ladder. We all know his stats. He’s been arguably one of the best players in the NBA this past month.
Has a player made All NBA that wasn’t an All Star?
Why not expand it an additional 2 or 3 spot? The nba is bursting at the seams with talent and guys are still making the team in their mid to late 30s. This problem isn’t going away
People can try to rationalize this all they want, but no domas is totally absurd. One of them will likely be asked to be an injury replacement and I hope they decline.
Yes people still like it, but it's poltics and popularity contest.
Haven't watched in over 5 years, but don't begrudge anyone who does. I can't get behind the "All Star" title when it's really a midseason circus, sideshow or And One game. I understand that the "Most Marketable Player" game doesn't have that same ring to it, but that's what it is.
Fox thinks he's curry these days with all these 3s. He made a few and realize that was easier than attacking the paint. Problem is that's not who he is or what we need
