Yeah, but part of the fact is that Barnes is just not this guy every night. He's actually too cerebral as a player to launch away. It takes mindlessness to do that sometimes and this is why a lot of big number players IQ's don't match their shot attempts. Dallas gave him his chance and he is a good 3rd option if pushed. Not more every night.

Yes, he's too often infuriatingly passive. And he's taken it to a new extreme this season. I think the much better question is why the F haven't they, since Brown came on, regularly run a few plays for him EVERY damn night?
