Look, I am going to be honest, straight to the point, and extremely harsh here.

We've had a rough-ish week.

I don't care about no dang beam.
I don't even care about no dang bean.
I just care about Kings basketball.
I want to win.
I want to see a team play hard, even if playing hard doesn't result in a win.
I want to see a legitimate playoff team.
I want to see a legitimate playoff team with aspirations of moving past the first round.
I want to see a team who is taking a significant stride towards contending for the Larry O'Brien Trophy.

You're not getting any GIFs.
You're not getting the "QWERTY special" (i.e. my regular gameday thread/routine).

You're just getting a question (or a few questions) from QWERTY, for the Kings...

Can y'all just go back to playing basketball? Can y'all at least give us some glimpse of hope again? Is this all too much to ask for?

I’m still waiting for a streak to rope me in this season. Every time I think I’m getting there, they flame out in spectacular fashion.

I do wish Hali was playing. Sucks we won’t see him, even though it’ll make the game more winnable.

Will be interesting to see which face of Kings we will see today …
The team from the first 42 minutes of Suns game or the one from the last 6 ….
Let’s hope for the first …. Monk and Fox should step hard in this one , both are letting us a bit lately and I think they feel it too
And not forget , we will see another triple double today from our Lithuanian machine ;)

Honestly at this point I don’t mind that he will miss the game … we need the W by any means , so as much as possible not playing stars Is welcomed ….

I won’t get to watch this one due to blackout restrictions. They are listing Hali, Siakam etc as game time decisions which seems odd. Bring ‘em on, might as well play everyone

They really have. No point in moping, just go take care of business at home, and concentrate. Coach Brown might want to call a timeout if their attention is wandering...

if KVon is back and with Keegan shooting 42 percent from three since the end of November maybe we can stop being the 14th best offense?

The thing that killed me with the Suns game, is that I watched 3.5 quarters of great basketball. I really did (cautiously) feel like they had turned a corner. I loved Brown tightening his guard rotation with Monk as the back-up PG. Just seemed to eliminate our offensive lulls. The defensive effort was great. Shooting the ball well as a team. Then....

Yeah, no excuses for a stinker here. Played (mostly) great the last 2 games, fumbled in the clutch and Pacers are missing their 2 stars+Bruce Brown obviously not in.

I never look at a short handed team and pencil in a victory. Good teams lose to short handed teams all the time. They just have to play their game and take advantage of being at home

Of course... anything can happen, but that scenario has played out way too often with this Kings team to excuse away. If they don't come out with the right mental focus and energy, after the last two games (and Philly which was just a run of the mill blowout loss) I have to question the backbone and desire of this team.

I don't know who is going to announce tonight's game - Jones or Draper, but I have suggestions for both. As Jones is want to use redundant adjectives, please feel free, Mr. Jones, to use all of the following adjectives in describing the Kings: capricious, arbitrary, whimsical, fickle, unpredictable, and dumbass. If Draper is calling the game, unlike in other situations, I have no problem with him laughing at anything and everything, e.g. Kings lose - HAHAHAHAHAHA, or if Kings win - HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Either one seems entirely appropriate at this point.

Sucks Tyrese won’t get introduced to an ovation but I’m otherwise happy he’s not coming back tonight lol

Wonder if Buddy will get booed again. I’ve kinda flipped on that and now think it was uncalled for. But now he has said some things

The Suns game was their best performance of the season for 41 minutes. They played well in the Bucks game. That 76ers game was terrible though. They were 2-7 without Embiid and the Kings still didn’t compete.

We seem to have a better game when we get some easy baskets and minimize the fouls in the first few minutes. If we get in a hole, brick 3s, and get constant whistles it takes away our flow and we struggle the whole game.

How many times this year have bad teams (missing key players) killed us when they're hitting shots and we give them hope? It snowballs every time. I'm sick of watching scrubs have career games against us.

Justifiable booing IMO.

He said that a few weeks after the game at Golden 1 last season where he was booed each time he touched the ball. Which is what I was alluding to when I said “he has said some things now”

but not sure if it was justified when it happened.

I’m not singling you out here, there are a bunch of forum members who don’t like the commentators, but why not listen to the Gman while turning off the sound on the tv? Some of my cub fan buddies preferred the radio guys over the tv personalities so that’s what they would do.

That sounds about right.

I think Kings fans probably booed him because after a while it seemed like he was more about himself and getting his shots up over doing what's best for the team. I remember reading reports about him not wanting to come off the bench. Which is normal for any player but he just seemed extra selfish near the end of his tenure here.

Guys like Harry Giles or Jack Cooley will always get a standing O from Kings fans for their heart, hustle and love for the city. I feel like our fanbase respects that more than they respect a more talented player like Buddy who was more me first.

He has basically said the same things in Indiana. It’s important to him that he starts. I have to think they will trade him and try to get one more piece for a playoff run

I’m pretty sure he is only because I have Fox News on and they took it to G1C where they talk about him and he’s out there warming up. I’ve listened to all the blahblahblah news how he’s not going to play but he will make appearance I just don’t know how long but we will see him .
