1. I told ya, it's time to trade Huerter...he doesn't play defense. Often time, his liability is what ignite the other team to score. Once you allow penetration, it puts a stress on the team because someone is going to be opened. Sometimes, I wish Brown would yank Huerter out for playing bad defense rather thank sticking with him when he's not doing his job or just hurting the Kings too much. Him and Barnes have got to go.
2. Barnes is undersize and doesn't do anything great on defense. Hell, even if he play great one on one, it doesn't bother the other player.
3. Duarte is in a funk....no wonder the Pacers got rid of him...he doesn't show consistency.
4. Ellis...he plays it safe whenever he's on the floor...doesn't do anything crazy. But I feel like Colby Jones would have been a better choice because Colby Jones at least can attack and have that consistent drop shots. If Ellis want to contribute more, he have got to attack the basket more I feel like...it's almost like Keegan from last year...hesitate to attack...doesn't want to play out of his comfort zone....but if he doesn't do anything crazy, then it makes the job of the other team too easy to guard...cuz they don't have to worry about being attacked. Fox is the only one that can get this team going...everyone else seems to rely on Sabonis passing skills too much.

Colby should play a lot in the second half and he should be given some freedom to handle the the ball. He’s the only bench guy that can create with no Monk and Wolves likely aren’t expecting much from him.

Where is Kessler Edwards? He should be a sure to play anytime this matchup comes up on the schedule…especially since he has played well in last matchups.

Duarte is fired.

3 Javale iso attempts in the first half. That should not happen

Huerter has been especially awful.

Barnes not as awful, but still bad.

Keon awful

Keegan missing too many threes but playing OK

Domas is playing awful. I’m especially bothered by only 3 rebounds. Certainly no shortage of bricks to compete for. Minnesota’s poor shooting is the only reason this isn’t 30.

Fox playing well.

Huerter is normally bad, but si ce he has returned to that stupid hitch in his shot he is terrible.

Keegan is drifting on his shots.

These are causing missed shots from two rotation players.

Minny plays tough D, stays in the passing lanes, and has length.

Another crapshow on a back to back

I said I wouldn’t watch them on back to backs anymore last time but I had hoped they might’ve taken their poor play on them personally…nope
I say the same thing. This team needs to understand that a back to back is not the end of the world. I don't know why this team has such issues with back to backs. It's like they are protesting back to back games by playing REALLY bad.. I don't think it's fair to the people that buy tickets knowing the Kings are going to stink it up on back to backs. It's so predictable that I had actually placed wagers on the second night that the kings will lose and that the other team will easily cover the spread since the Kings always lose by 20 or more on the second night. I am not watching this game either, but judging by the posts here the Kings are down by 20 at least? It's so damn predictable.

But start putting money against the Kings on second nights and watch the wins come rolling in!

I think part of it is pure odds. The Kings this year are living by 3 point shots, even more so than last year. If the Kings get hot, they can hang with anyone but no team is going to kill from 3 every single night and back to backs are the most likely odds you won't.

I hope the Kings read this board sometimes.. If they do then stop playing so bad on the 2nd night of back to back. Show some freaking balls and stop playing like crap. You owe this to the people that pay your salary to play hard on the 2nd night. Last time I watch the 2nd night you all looked like you didn't want to be there.

Yah that is a stupid gameplan too. It's nice to have a lot of guys that can shoot it, but when they are not hot they look horrible and can hardly show any kind of post up game. Fox is one of the fastest players in the league. So do some pick and rolls or slice to the basket.

Yeah, but here's the thing, Kayte: Gobert's reputation as a defender is overrated, against low-post scorers, but he might be lowkey underrated as a weak side defender, and that's what's killing Sacramento's drives to the basket.

Welp… (despite the last game I can’t say I expected another W, even with KAT out)
What do you mean, "even with KAT out"? They're better without Towns: they're mentally tougher without him, and they don't have any holes in their defense in their starting lineup.

This is the #1 team in the West right now and the Kings are within striking distance at the start of the 4th with only 3 players having even decent games. It's there for the taking. I wish Kings fans would stop burying their heads in the sand at the first sign of trouble. We have a good team! Stand tall y'all!
