One team is on a 3 game winning streak, and is 4-1 over their last 5 games.

Yes, this will be a tough game but let's hope tired legs from a demoralizing OT loss to the Warriors is enough to throw off the shots and stamina of the Celtics.

Iron sharpens iron. The Fox v Holiday matchup is always epic. And I’m looking forward to Keegan matching up with Tatum.

But I’m worried about Jaylen Brown. His physicality might be a problem.

Go Kings. All I want for Christmas is more beams.
Derrick White will be their X factor.

What's the Celtics injury report look like?

I wonder if it ends up being Keegan on White. Use the length to disrupt him. KVon on Jrue, Fox on Brown and Barnes on Tatum. Tatum will bait Keegan into a bunch of early fouls imo and we can’t have that. Let him sorta get his while limiting the other guys. Kessler in for short bursts to give JT some trouble.

Interesting to see how it goes with whoever Keegan is matched up against, and if it's enough to counteract the scoring of whoever HB is matched up against.

Keegan probably gets the Tatum assignment? Interesting test for him, outside of the Bridges game, he hasn't been quite as effective on longer wings as he has guards

If they beat the Warriors last night I would think we would beat them tonight, because I am assuming they want to split these games at the very minimum. The Celtics whooped us last year in both games. In the year prior to that we lost both games as well. The Celtics have our number, and I think this will be a very very tough game to win since I believe the Cs wanted to at least split. Hope they are tired.

The great Harrison Barnes had a whopping zero rebounds in 34 freaking minutes against those rebounding monsters of the east known as the Washington Wizards. Lyles had two rebounds in 19 minutes of play. For all you Steelers fans, that adds up to two freaking rebounds in 53 minutes of play at the forward position, sans Murray. And I'm not letting Murray off easily either. He had a very ordinary five rebounds in 32 minutes of play. Brown better ask Monk when he's in earshot of Murray whether Murray can rebound. Monk: "Sure, coach. I've seen him rebound.. Brown: "Really?? (eyebrows raised). Murray: "Check out my youtube."

Hopefully, we see all these guys step up their rebounding in tonight's game. Sabonis can't do it all.

Careful with this analysis. WAS only had 5 ORB. A lot of their misuses caromed way out. More guard rebounds and Sasha did great when he came in on the glass. Not saying they should have been THAT low, but the team rebounded pretty well overall.

Be careful, I didn't talk about the team, nor Sasha. Zero is zero and two is two. Those are facts, not analysis. Facts. Two rebounds in 53 minutes of play for two of the forwards. Fact. So it took an average of 29.5 minutes to get one rebound between Barnes and Lyles. Fact. Sabonis, as usual, didn't have a problem with rebounds. Another fact. Those aberrant rebounding arcs you alluded to didn't affect him any.

Here are some more facts about Barnes (not the team, by the way): He has gotten 0, 4, 3, 1, and 2 rebounds consecutively in the last five games. He's averaging 3.2 rebounds per game this season while playing 30+ minutes per game, so we're talking about one rebound every 10 minutes of play. An average rebounding forward will get a rebound every four minutes. So he's getting less than half the rebounds of an average forward in this league.

Now here's my opinion regarding those facts: That is ridiculously low for a starting forward in this league. I think far too often Sabonis is the rebounding crutch for this team. It's no wonder that he talks about the others joining in to get rebounds. By the way, I'd have no problem whatsoever if Brown awarded Sasha with 30+ minutes in this game for his 7 rebs against the Wiz, while deducting most of his added time from Barnes. Barnes has literally become the "soft spot" for this team.

I'm super interested in the Keegan - Tatum matchup. Tatum is exactly the type of player he's going to have to prove he can compete with, shut down, and ultimately outperform. Keegan's defense has been elite lately, at a time when people can't guard him. Very intriguing matchup!!!
