Ant really can't wait for the preseason to be over.

Lively looks solid. Super skinny though. Wolves could absolutely take advantage of him if they weren't playing Gobert and KAT together lol

feels like it should be the Mavs' main lineup, which of course means Jason Kidd is going to do something dumb like play Richaun and Powell together instead.

I was optimistic about Richaun rediscovering his form playing off of Luka in a pick and roll heavy system in Dallas but what if he is actually just sorta bad now?

OMax has been very active on loose balls but his refusal to both shoot or pass the ball until absolutely necessary is not great. Had one good fadeaway for his first make of the preseason but that’s about it on offense and has gotten lost on defense (to be fair this entire Dallas team has taken turns absolutely biffing on their defensive assignments)

In a stunning turn of events that absolutely no one could have seen coming, the Wolves remain better when only one of KAT or Gobert is playing at a time.

I'm trying to figure out why KAT out of all NBA players is the one who comments on boxing matches. Maybe Slim can fill me in here?

Rui and Reaves are both older than Malik Monk and Max Christie wasn’t even a rotation player last year.
This surprised me, so I looked it up. Hachimura and Reaves are actually both younger than Monk. Reaves by less than 4 months and Rui by 4 days.

But the point stands. The Lakers "young core" is barely younger than Fox and Monk, and older than Murray, who we all know has no upside and was pretty much a finished product coming out of college . . .

Yeah, I realize now that I was actually looking at Huerter’s birth date, which probably only makes the point more stark.

Yeah, if 25 or younger still constitutes being part of the "young core", the Kings have Fox, Monk, Huerter, and Murray, along with Davion Mitchell, Kessler Edwards, Keon Ellis, Colby Jones, and Jalen Slawson.

Let's hope Kidd continues to be bad at his job, because that's a very very very good 5 that's built for playoff ball

they would probably struggle on defense against some of the more guard heavy teams/elite centers but on offense that’s a clean slice and dice five-out unit to maximize Luka and Kyrie on offense. Still, it would be so much better than starting two incredibly raw rookies and/or two undersized centers who appear to be on their last legs like Kidd has been trying to do over the first two games of preseason.
