I’m sorry how can you be mad about the ending. He missed a good look. It happens, that’s basketball. Sure my heart is in my stomach right now but I’m not mad
You would just assume we can come out with a better look than a cold Barnes. Warriors almost always seem to come out with a great look off of a timeout. Again, Warriors defended it well and perhaps Fox could have better been used as a decoy

Steph, Klay, and Poole all pretty much had A+ games and this game pretty much came down to the final shot anyways. They also have to figure out how to deal with the fact that their offense runs better with Draymond off the floor at this point too.
I think he kind of did. Kerr has played nothing but wing ball sliding into 4 small G junk ball in the last two games and that little blip of defense from the Kings is GONE. This is a shootout now. Looney and Draymond have really gotten under Domas when he's trying to beast them too. At least the DHO reappeared so he's not neutralized now.

Keegan w 23&7 on 5-7 from 3. Just need Huerter to get it going and our offense will be unstoppable

Almost stole one from the champs at home. Huge rebound from Thursday night to erase all the doubt from that game. Warriors brought their full home court magic and we still almost stole it, now back home to try to get win #3. No one said it'd be easy.
Not for nothing but this game is going to mean a lot for Keegan's development in the long run. Kid was running on fumes by the fourth quarter but he showed a lot of shot creation stuff and secondary playmaking skill stuff that is absolutely essential to postseason basketball. It helps that he shot a better percentage from three than Steph and Klay (on less attempts though) but what Keegan showed tonight was really encouraging/probably leads to a win on a night where Kevin Huerter isn't playing like the Monstarz stole his mojo.

Now we (and Keegan) know that he is capable of showing up when the lights are on. If/when it becomes an everyday thing, that's our third star/a guy who can score the ball when Domas is in his own head.

Yeah, the Warriors flat out blew that play up. Barnes had to shoot that 3, there wasn't time to do anything else. Fox getting the ball from Domas was the obvious call. Domas can't just be there for a rebound, there's no point in positioning for boards unless you're getting into quick offense which the Kings didn't. Once Fox has to get the ball from the backcourt Domas needs to come up and run two man game.

The part that I find mildly amusing is that he seems to have assumed that, because I stopped rooting for the Kings, that I started rooting for some other team?! The Warriors, apparently?
Truth be told, I am 100% not as passionate as a Kings fan as I was during that tormenting 17 years. I'm more of a biased observer these days like if my relative works for the Kings kinda way.

I'm really skeptical of Huerter being that starting sg for us.

Just doesn't seem to knock down enough shots even though I understood that was his specialty.

Not ready to solidify him as a for sure core piece

This team should learned who is the better shooter. Fox at the last shot should have passed to Monk on his left instead of Barnes. I rather have Monk shoot to win the game than Barnes. Normally, Fox is looking for his buddy but man...that's a bad decision. Barnes has not been shooting well in this game I don't think...why go to him. Another thing is, Monk need to stop attacking in fastbreak knowing there is nothing there....Draymond was waiting..what are you doing?? I notice he does that in the regular season too and it translate into the Playoffs. It's just a waste of possession and that's the difference between winning and losing. This team could have won it if they play a bit smarter...but MY GOD, the game is there for the taken. It sucks that they blew it.

I would have loves to see Fox used as a hard decoy to get Keegan a wide open look from three early in the shot clock- and then crash for the o-board/putback.

I get that your schtick is the Randy Quaid dude from Major League. That’s fine and all but nobody wanna hear that crap when we almost had a chance to go up 3-1 on the last shot.
I've seen Sam Cassell's face for too long, I can't now fix my headcanon with Randy Quaid...

not bad for a specialist

I’m just saying what everyone’s thinking. They’re too good. Too experienced. We’re not there.

The Warriors and the Suns are the two teams we were going to lose to 100%
I'm not thinking this at all.

I predicted Kings in 6, and I'm sure it will happen. They could have won this game. Inexperience happened. They got hammered in Game 3, and learned from it. They made pressure mistakes here, and they will learn from it. The Warriors are good, but they aren't too good. If they were too good, this would have been 4-0 for them, not 2-2. You have to respect them, but not fear them.

There's a difference between pessimism and defeatism. Pessimism is "it's going to be really hard to win this series, we may not do it." Defeatism is "we don't even have a chance." It's understandable to be pessimistic, even if that's a sad way to live. It's indefensible to be defeatist right now. You, sir, are being defeatist and you have no grounds on which to be that way. This team went from the laughingstock of the league to #3 in the west. Your homegrown star went from being overlooked to being the inaugural NBA Clutch Player of the Year. You have the first f*****g unanimous Coach of the Year leading the charge and the change. Put some damned respect on the damned Sacramento Kings name, and stop chat rubbish about 100% loss. This is now a best of 3, and any card can play. Yeah, you can be pessimistic and say the kings are likely to lose, but don't you dare go beyond that. Respect what's been done this year. This team can ball with anyone, anytime, anywhere, and they deserve credit and kudos no matter what happens. Kmt.

Also remember, the game probably should have never been in that position in the first place.

Curry made a super bonehead play, that in and of itself was a 4pt swing if I'm not mistaken.

So I think we were even fortunate to be in that position.

On to the next one
Yeah, it looks like he gets no call attacking the basket. And you don't know if it's foul or not...there is just too many contact. There's a reason he fell down every time. If this is a regular season game against other team with unknown players...I am sure he will get the ball...that's why I say NBA refs are biased sometimes.

Dude literally put up one of the best shooting seasons in franchise history this year. I get that he hasn't quite shown up this series but 15/2.9/3.3/1.1 on an incredibly affordable 4 year deal for a 24 year old 6'7" wing-guard is absolutely a core piece. Maybe not on a Domas/Fox level but he's certainly there on a "Trade only if you're getting a star or something back in return" level.

Had a clean look at the end by HB. If that goes, the next 10 pages on this thread would be completely different.

Also, had to put on ignore multiple posters. I’m not having it on my timeline right now.

I’m looking forward to the refs giving us home court advantage foul calls again at home. That’s the way it’s supposed to work, right?
As the ball left HBs hands, all I could think was the revenge game narrative for Harrison. It wasn’t to be. If I could survive the Horry shot, I can definitely live through this. Get them in game five.
