What a 2nd quarter!

Keegan and De'Aaron doing some heavy lifting in this first half. Winnable game the offense is in rhythm.
Just need K'Von to join in the fun and we're in good shape. Warriors are probably going to start throwing some Box-and-1 stuff at Fox in the second half since he's just been shredding every single guy they throw on him. Should lead to some good looks on the perimeter for Keegs and Kev.

I don't believe he was ever scared. Don't let the quiet guy fool you. Just needed to settle in and get a rhythm. He's found that now
Yeah, he wasn't, and credit to the coaches again. They aren't expecting Keegan to keep less than 3 inches between he and his man on defense, and offensively they are spotting him up at the gaps of the Warriors help defense. To Keegans credit he's also looking to attack here and there which is a game changer.

Great stuff from Keegan.

We might be up even more if the refs didn't swallow their whistles every time we get fouled.

That said, no lead is safe against the Warriors. Klay and Steph are hitting shots and that is a worry.

We need to continue to get stops and keep making shots.

This is nerve-wracking. What an amazing series so far.

Hall of Famer
It won’t arrive in time for this series or these playoffs but I just know Domas will eventually be a guy that takes and makes those middies and also takes some threes each game. He shot them more confidently in the season but he’s tipping too much in this series he doesn’t want to do it and it’s messing with him and the system.

he’s been solid in this game though. Especially that second quarter. His rebounding is down but the Warriors aren’t eating the offensive glass so it’s a combination of rebounds being out of his range and the Kings simply shooting a respectable percentage

That elbow pick and roll he ran with Sabonis that led to a middy is a game changer for this team both this series and in the years ahead. If that ever becomes a consistent part of his game, the league's in trouble.

I feel it's finally a game - and finally a series.

Whatever nerves/rust/funk our shooting was in (despite gritting out two wins) is gone. This is the Kings squad we saw all year.
The Kings just have to stick to their game. Don't get into a iso shoot out from 25 feet. The Warriors have always lulled teams into that. The Kings can win that way but they're just gambling at that point. Use the physical advantage and if the defense doesn't completely crap the bed it's a win.
