I’m not gonna jump on the fans here. From what I’ve seen everyone is pretty levelheaded about this team. This team is way ahead of schedule and exciting as hell but their lack of defense is really gonna catch up with them in the playoffs. That’s just being real. We've scored 120+ 39 times this season. 33 of those have been wins.

Likewise, we've only scored 110 or less 16 times this season. 14 of those have been losses.

The blueprint is crystal clear. When our offense is rolling, we're near unbeatable. When it isn't, we aren't beating anybody.

The difference is the Wolves actually kind of built a team on paper to fit him. Tons of defense. In the end come playoff time the Kings worst enemy will be themselves due to their defensive shortcomings. If KAT is the breakdown of their entire defense it might actually help. The Kings don't win jack on defense, they run over teams.

In the grand scheme of things this game doesn't mean much. We aren't catching the Grizzlies with the way they are playing and the Suns aren't likely to catch the Kings. Let's just consider it a win because no1 got injured.

"oh we want this special moment at home", well now not only did you not get it, but you don't even get to party in your own building until 5 days after Christmas.

Slow start or not, this was a rare 4th quarter loss for us.

After that 20-pt first half Fox had 7 in the second on cold shooting til that meaningless buzzer-beater. HB scored 9 but also cold in second half. Domas did his part. Bench was weak shooting. Brown needed to give Huerter run earlier, fouls notwithstanding.

I just want to say. This team was NOT predicted to be here. The fact that they are speaks a whole lot of volume. They are young. Fairly inexperienced. And still figuring things out together.

The fact they are her and doing what they are doing should be enough. Some of ya need to chill and reassess.

Yes, we want them to go all the way. Was that really going to happen in year 1? 99.9% NO.

Will we have a strong chance to advance to round 2? Possibly, depending on how many lessons we learn in the regular season before we go into a series.

We start a rookie. Our #1 scorer has never been to the playoffs. We have a veteran SF who crap his pants in the playoffs. A center who is undersized physically but oversized in the heart department. And a SG who was wrongly used in his playoff experience.

Team wasted a great showing by the fans. Kinda a downer…….

They’ve been doing that a lot this year. They just don’t have another gear at home. 23-16 at home isn’t ideal. Several of the wins were narrow escapes as well.

Kings don’t have a home court advantage to speak of.

Maybe they should’ve brought over some of the ARCO wood and lined the stands with them to get some real thunder In there.
