Where do the Kings finish

To be that confident and then be so wrong would, he didn’t even think we would get 37 wins and we are closing in on 50. I probably wouldn’t show my face around here too if I was kb02.

To make straight playoffs the Kings would have to have a better record than the following teams.

1. Suns
2. Grizzlies
3. Warriors
4. Mavericks
5. Nuggets
6. Clippers
4 out of the 6, a big CHECKMARK.

Still tied with 1 of the 6 and trying to run down the other.

Threads like this one show why we should never assume things can’t happen just because they haven’t before.

I'm an optimist. Hope springs eternal. And there are always 1-2 teams expected to finish strong that don't and 1-2 teams that overachieve. I think we "overachieve" if we stay healthy.

And what the heck - might as well hope for the best in the beginning, right? :)
I said lower end of the PO (not play-in), but I got this part right! :)

I dont think the reason he isn't showing his face around here is due to that lol. Dude was a fake fan. And a perennial bet loser but supposedly a "gambling genius".

In other words, he isn't here because he is a fraud.

I’m still waiting for the poop to hit the fan. Somethings bound to go wrong, and I’m bracing for it so I’m not broken hearted again.
We're opening a new ward of the re-education camp in order to serve the needs of our traumatized popluation. Fear not - there will be no shortage of sauce (the true healing agent). Voluntary sign ups - no gestapo coming to your house. Heal my brother heal. :)

Yes, I don't think he was really a fan of the team. He came to crap on an eternally optimistic fanbase and when there was no pleasure to be had there he moved on. Probably on Blazersfans or something now talking about how overrated Dame is.

I told y'all before the season started Monk was rising with star potential. Huerter was a banger. Keegan was figured to be at least a 3nD. Barnes is basically an ice cold hitman. Sabonis and Fox already had chemistry. Coach always sounded thoughtful and knowledgeable. I knew we'd be dope as long as the team was confident. What I didn't know is that Fox would basically destroy other teams' game plans just by mastering that quick, fall-back pull-up while driving. As of now, I don't think any team in the West wants to see us.

Looking back, it seems I was measured but hopeful, figuring the Kings had the talent to do no worse than the play-in, but were more likely to make the playoffs outright as a 6th seed or better. As the current 2nd seed in the west, with the likelihood of finishing no worse than 3rd growing by the day, they've certainly managed to exceed even my most optimistic projections. What a season this has been!

I don't remember voting but can safely say no way did I expect to be this seriously good. Now convinced we are upper tier and only going to get better as other teams grow old and free agents decide Sacramento is their preferred destination.
We will finish two or three, with the Suns losing today I recon only an injury would derail us for 1st round home court advantage. Good times.

I need the Kings to advance well into the playoffs. For the first time in 8 years I will at long last return to the US, but not until May 2nd.
I imagine it will be difficult to get tickets, i’ll get my brother who lives in the Sierras to look into this but damn would it be a shame to not catch some post season action. The last time I was in Sacramento they were just breaking ground on the G1.
I’m now old and tired, sort of, Kings came to Sac when I was 25 and i’m actually pretty fit but was always terrible at basketball. Regardless, greatest game in town.

My hope for you my friend is that your wish will be granted, and you will get to root for the Kings at Golden1 in May. I've been to a few games there, but not a playoff game obviously. The place will be lucky to have a roof after the first playoff game.
