Yep, we gave up 24, 26, 15 to Reddish, Little, and Watford.

Tomorrow we play Leonard, George and Morris. Should be no problem :)
The dudes who were -18, -12, -20 in the game?

Kings had a bad 1Q, but then dialed it in and dominated the rest of the game. 104-79 in SAC's favor the remaining 3 quarters.

A lot of good signs here. Bench looked excellent and once the Kings locked in, this was just a clear beat-down as expected. Need to tighten up that 1Q defense vs LAC tomorrow, but if the bench shows up like this again with Fox/Sabonis rolling, we'll have a great shot to get the W tomorrow too.

Fox showed why he deserved to be an all-star tonight. Took over the game and never let go of the gas pedal. Sabonis had one of those games where it felt quiet, but he somehow ended up with a big triple double. The bench provided life and helped the team get back into this game. Can't say enough about TD. When he's locked in, he's one of the most exciting players to watch. Monk had a great game after coming back from his injuries, we definitely missed him. Davion had a quiet offensive night, but he did all the right things and played great D. Lyles and Metu were still an integral part of our bench in their big run. I think a big unsung hero of this game was Harrison Barnes. His "old-man" offense completely shifted the momentum of the game by calming it down. When you force young inexperienced teams to play in the half-court, that's where they struggle, and that's when we started to see Portland miss their shots. I thought Keegan struggled in the 1st quarter defensively, but he made a completely 360 the next time he got subbed back in. Huerter was solid for the most part, but would've liked to see him make 1 more 3.

TD since joining the rotation full-time in the last 8 games:

19.2 MPG
12.1 PPG
3.1 RPG
1.6 APG
0.9 SPG
47.5% from 3 on 5.0 3PA
68.3% TS (Damn)
+53 in +/- (+6.6 per game)
5/8 games with double digit scoring

So uhhh. Yeah, all of a sudden he's carved out a rotation spot the rest of the season, but what the hell do we do long-term? I just don't see Davion/TD/Monk all working long-term off the bench. And TD is still just 25, turning 26 in May, so his next contract would line up well with him going into his prime. Would feel really bad if he continued to finish the season like this and we just let him walk.

Just seems the Kings will have a decision to make in terms of who the back-up back-court is going to be. I do think you can move Monk up and let him run back-up point. Like we've said all season, he basically does anyway, he just doesn't dribble the ball up the floor. Him and TD would have some serious volatility, both good and bad, but I think that could be a great thing for this Kings core, where the starters are so reliant on the offensive system/Sabonis passing to get shots (outside of Fox of course).

If you brought back TD and Lyles, moved Monk up to back-up point:

Fox || Monk
Huerter || TD
Keegan
HB || Lyles
Sabonis

with Davion as a good trade chip and a FRP+ a few 2nd round picks to find another core wing piece and a back-up C that can be trustworthy. I'd love it if we turned that job over to Lyles, but doesn't seem like Brown is willing unless forced.

It’s so funny watching these shows on TNT and ESPN showing the standings. They always start at the 4th seed down to 13 to show the clippers and lakers LMAO

yes those Dudes as we started to lock down guys that couldn’t get playing time. It’s good to get the W. It’s concerning how we struggle with length and size on the wing. Tomorrow will be interesting.

Not sure what the stats say, but it feels like every time TD has a good offensive game, the Kings win.

Mike Brown is a more disciplined man than me. TDs potential would have gotten me fired by now if I was the coach.

those guys were freed by Dame and Grant not playing. They were free to shoot at will. Got lucky at the start, but the end showed their true game missing all those 3's.
