It'd have to be the right piece that's comfortable playing off the Sabonis DHO base play. Why this offense works so well is Fox and Sabonis are very willing to kick out to elite spacers for the best shot. They're not overly concerned with their own shot volume.

I don't really know what that 3rd "star" piece looks like. To me, I'd rather invest those assets into an elite defensive lynchpin that you can plug at the 3 or 4 and you create a 3 man wing rotation with Barnes+Keegan+xx
It's someone that comes out every night and can get 20. It's how they look at the game. Playing on DHO? Not sure that's totally necessary especially if they can get Sasha to come over.

Who are some names you have in mind? You've been harping on this 3rd star point for awhile now over looking to fix the defense. And any 3rd star trade would obviously require Keegan getting shipped out as the main piece fwiw

So without overreacting to this week's data points, it looks like this team is who we thought they were. A good, not great, team that can beat anyone on a good night, and even beat a lot of teams on a bad night, but has weaknesses that can be exploited and game planned. AND, this team is newly good, and is not yet good enough to consistently win (or even play well) without one of its two main engines.

It means we are good, but have plenty of room to get better both from player development and roster moves. But the sky isn't falling and we aren't winning a title yet. I hope we can all agree to this...

I feel like Fox is more instrumental to the flow of the team than Sabonis.

First off, Keegan as not a totally dependent assist guy. After that, not sure. Grant might still be an option this summer depending on what the Blazers do. I would totally say it would be worth going after LaVine at this point but now the Bulls are being stubborn from the sounds of it. I'm not sure they need a LaVine level guy to be honest anyway. Beals always a potential target. Ideally they don't play SG but I do think Huerter has proven to be able to play enough SF to be OK.

Well look at that, Murray with 8 first half points and Kings up by 17.....of course playing the worst team in the NBA has alot more to do with it. Last of the freebies Wednesday until April 2nd....yep, only 2 more games against bona fide inferior teams. Then its 27 other dogfights night in and night out - no one else is a freebie, nobody.

I see only Fox as the guy that you can throw the ball to say "Go, get me a bucket". We need another shot creater that can be a #2 option.

Or we can just swing and see how to get KD here.
I was all in on Randle last deadline but that ship might have sailed. The truth is to get that guy looking at those slightly damaged goods, like Randle was last year, is probably the only option.
