5 straight double figure scoring games off the bench for Lyles

Kings are 14-6 when Metu plays 10 or more minutes…that doesn’t include the last 2 wins vs HOU where he played slightly under 10 minutes

That’s not trying to overstate his importance but simply noting that the Lyles and Metu frontcourt rotation is the Kings best and proven option and should be stuck with until the Kings find upgrades via trade or free agency.

HB is killing it.

Edit:Kings are actually 14-8 under the Metu criteria. I missed a couple October losses.

So Ordinary That It's Truly Quite Extraordinary

yeah I don't envision Davion suddenly becoming a Kyle Lowry but you never know. Situations and roles are important
As long as he plays well after he earns a hearty pay day, I do believe that teams above the cap have a competitive advantage if the owner doesn't mind paying the luxury tax and they aren't stuck with a lot of players on bad contracts.

Even then, we'll probably be above the cap by the time Holmes's deal is up and if he's still here, we can move him to a team desperate for an expiring for a player who hopefully has some value.

My biggest question is when this team is a playoff team will Vivek and the other owners be ok with ponying up the tax bill if that's what it comes to.

I just see so much potential in him but it hasn’t materialized up to this point. Great defense, can get to the basket, underrated athlete. If he can get his outside shot figured out he could potentially be Fox’s backcourt mate closing out games. Lack of playing time and playing in 3 minute spurts really hurts his offense IMO.

I think so, Vivek has a lot of egg on his face due his hubris and incompetence. He’ll do just about anything to be successful, this is a man that is not used to failure.

considering that the majority of the contenders have been over the luxury bill, it may be a necessity and Vivek hasn't been stingy in spending. Albeit, he's made a lot of spending errors so now he needs a return in those failed investments.

Metu showing nice awareness around the basket, DS is rubbing off on him

I really like the way it seems that someone on the second team usually steps up his game.
I also thought Kevin had a good game for not playing a few games and it was nice that they were able to keep his minutes down tonight.
