I don’t mind. Just figured they would move him since his minutes are going to go way down. I wasn’t looking to unload him for trade exceptions or second round picks or anything. He’s way better than that. You can’t do much better for a backup center.
Gotta say Philly too since Morey did eventually get the only thing he wanted and didn't have to include any of his young darling pieces. Harden/Embiid is going to be must watch basketball if they get into it.
His current fit makes no sense but you have to hold onto a value contract like his until you get something decent. I’m not a huge fan, but I’m not in the business of giving him away.
but I bet we could have traded him for a large expiring and seconds!
god it's so nice having a real GM. I know it took a while but dude was playing chess after years of the Maloofs (I really am going to give Petrie credit as having been undercut from about 2005 on), those two dumbheads and Vlade playing checkers.

The picks are my thing. There is nothing a mid 1st round pick if this does work out is going to do for this team. I think it's value will be less on draft night than today. I guess options are still open on draft night. In the end the G rotation is back intact, they upgraded Metu, and got a host of long defense oriented wings. Can't complain.
Well, the Kings have to get rid of some bodies, so still a chance we have a last second trade here. If not, it's probably a buy-out of Len and/or waiving Ramsey or Woodard
Pistons goofed. They didn't want to sell low on him but the time to even move him is running out. They got Marvin anyway but they need to look at getting more draft assets.

There's room for Sabonis/Holmes to get some run together too. Sabonis just spent his last 3 seasons next to another big, so there's obvious comfort there.

I don't really think a buyout of Len makes sense, especially since he's got another guaranteed year. I would guess that barring another move we haven't heard of yet, Woodard and Ramsey are out.

Except turner stood at the 3pt line the entire time. I like Holmes and the deals that were made, I'm cool with him staying and maybe he can be thrown into a bigger deal in the off-season

Yeah, but that big he was with specialized in shooting 3's. And was also a KANGZ level combo where every year it was clear running 2 C's was a mistake. I guess they could give it a try but Sabonis/Holmes/Fox is not very complimentary. No better backup than Holmes probably though.
Wasn't moving Wall supposed to be their priority who the heck was their big signing? They are in full tank & rebuild mode with Detroit and OKC honestly who gives a f about houston?

Yeah he's an exceptionally moveable contract and should have a market in the off-season. I would have been significantly more pissed if they traded him for a package akin to that Trez contract.
