-I mean Buddy honestly didn't even shoot all that well. It was just "Not shoot the Kings out of the game" bad and looks how much that opens up the offense.

-Davion continues to shine as a starter. I think his defense really helps set a tone early and you feel that impact more with bigger minutes on better players.

-The Metu-Jones front-line bench duo had a good spark once again, cleaned up the glass with some strong D. If only Metu could actually shoot, he'd be a starting quality player. The rebounding/defense are pretty good.

-Mo had the 3rd most minutes on the team and it was deserving. He's limited, absolutely, but he's bringing some defensive energy/toughness we've been lacking for months

First time in a while I've been impressed with Davion's defense. He's looked rather pedestrian most the year but this brought me back to the first week of the season.

Haliburton didn't shoot well but it's hard to argue with an 11:0 AST/TO ratio.

Where's the dude who said Mo Harkless doesn't deserve minutes? This may be a bigger commentary on how sorry the rest of our team is on D, but pretty clear miss from Gentry benching him.
This team always looks better with Barnes and Harkless out there. The stats back that up. They Kings big unit dug a hole early, and a defense along with James Harden helped the Kings win it without Barnes having to continue to dominate like he did early and he stayed on the bench. That said, this team is still where it's at regardless. One win against a Durant-less Nets on a 5 game skid doesn't change it. Need more at SF. Harkless excels when allowed to defend on ball, size and strength at SF is where things are iffy overall on this team.
