I guess, if they allowed defensive goal tending people could just camp underneath and “block” shots. I don’t think allowing offensive interference would disrupt the game in the same way.

As Kevin Garnett used to demonstrate after every foul call, it's really easy for an NBA caliber athlete to block long jumpers on the way down.

The way the offense looked set-wise was encouraging at least. Defense looked awful but Gentry is the coach now so what else is new.
