This may be the Kings' season with the widest range of expectations, and just plain uncertainty, in recent memory.

What's yer take?

As a hopeful Kings fan still, I'm straddling a line between the first and second option that leans more heavily towards the second. I think we will have a decent offense, we haven't had too many issues in that department. I think we will have an improved defense, I'll say top 25, which is a big improvement compared to our record setting porous d of last season. I'm still on the fence with Walton as well, as a fan he can be frustrating to watch, but the players seem to absolutely love him so there could be something there and this season will be a good test for it.

I think we will be lucky to get the play-in, but if we are hunting for it that is already a big improvement. So I guess this is a long-winded way of saying I vote option 2.

I’d be happy if we make the play in. Our conference isn’t as good as the past decade. We just gotta be a little bit better on defense and that should be enough to get #10

2nd option. Give me the play in! i have no expectations in a damn near impossible western conference. With Fox missing a ton of games last season, it’s a wonder we even got as close as we did. Despite Luke being coach, i think that says a lot about some of the pieces we do have. Specifically guys like Fox, Hali and Holmes.

I’m in 35 wins, minus the chemistry issues. I just don’t think we’re good enough and a rookie 3rd guard and Tristan Thompson aren’t going to make us a playoff team.

Would be ecstatic for an 8 seed. Don't really care about wins and losses yet, much prefer to see growth from Fox/Hali/Mitchell, be pleasantly surprised that Bagley can be a future rotation piece and hope to see a spike from one of the developmental guys (King, Metu, Ramsey,TDavis) that can show they can be a long-term rotation piece. I'm convinced in McNair's talent evaluation, I'm more than willing to give him 2-3 more years to put his full vision on the floor.

Interesting. While other teams are saying their team is fully vaccinated, the Kings are saying Luke’s staff is fully vaccinated which is an NBA requirement and not news.

so who do you think is not vaccinated and putting the team at risk?
