I'm still wondering about what to do with Bagley honestly. Are we moving on?
The winning and suddenly being good (maybe for real this time?) really puts him in a pickle. He needs time to figure his game out. That much is obvious. But if we’re in it to win, he’s going to lose even more time on top of the time he’s already lost to injury.

I’ve long been on the “Moving on would be best for everyone” bandwagon... if anyone’s offering some solid return value, I’m in. But it has to be a solid return. No half season rental in hopes he’s the final piece to a low-seed playoff spot before the newly acquired bails in the offseason. Bags can still be a piece of the future, there’s no hurry just to dump him.

I’ve been out all day and haven’t seen the game yet, but recorded it. Just had the result spoiled for me, but very happy with it!

Great W for this team. More importantly 3-0 over DEN! I love it!

Can’t wait to see all the travels and illegal screens Jokic got away with on his career night. I know that to be true before pressing the play button.

You’re in for a treat early/mid fourth quarter when Jokic realizes Hassan is the only guy that had a chance of stopping him.

I think Bagley needs more involvement - he could do more on defense I think with more effort. It's on him to work harder defensively. He seems to do ok with 3s - how about pick and pops for him on the perimeter? You're seeing the focus for the offense be Barnes and Fox with Holmes and Haliburton supplementing.

If Bagley can improve his defense a notch, his offense wouldn't matter as much.
You can see his defense slowly improving. He is much better at being in the right position, and his recognition on when to help or switch have greatly improved. He still seems to be hesitant at times (I think he is trying to avoid picking up cheap fouls). At some point, he needs to up his aggressive and just live with being in foul trouble for a while. Eventually, the refs will adjust and start giving him more leeway.

I would trade him for Lonzo straight up and have our back court shored up.

Don't look now but the Kings are playing defense.
We had no answer for Jokic, but I don't know if anyone does. The guy is a point center that uses his body really well, has great touch, and everything else you want in an offensive player. The Kings tried everything, and little of it worked. The Kings did manage to stop the other guys on the Nuggets.

A really great win.
Fox, Halliburton, Barnes and Holmes are playing together on both ends.
Hield showed us something this afternoon by finding other players.
Like I have said before, the Kings can win with or without Mr. Bagley.
Show some appreciation for Mr. Jokic, because he was spectacular.

Please explain to me the over fascination with Ball.

Decent player? Sure. But there’s lots of better players to be had around the league. So what gives? I don’t get it.

The KINGS already have one player on the roster with a knucklehead family. Do they really need another? All for another marginal player that’s never come close to becoming the player many said he’d be.

They should've been double-teaming much harder and forcing the ball out of his hands......Murray wasn't playing to make them pay. Alot of soft help. Luckily their offense was too much for the Nuggets.

I hate the thought of losing the potential and team control that’s somewhere in Bagley for a half-season of a guy. Really any guy. Unless someone is selling a legit all-star at a position for Bagley I’m saying “NO” and even then? It’s tough. I’ve never been a fan of the rental. I’d really prefer some team control. Who else has a struggling lottery pick with upside within but needs a change of scenery and also under team control?

Whiteside said during the press conference that the scheme was to play Jokic straight up. Basically, they would rather he go for 40 & 10 (asts) than go for 30 & 20 while getting the rest of the team involved.

Marvin for Bamba and a second

not advocating it but that’s one way to kinda get the same control value as Bagley and potentially another pick.

I don't get it either. If one of us had the patience, we could go back and see how many people keep harping on us about getting Ball. Maybe only 2-3 people? Some posters here have a habit of repeating their posts about 16 times a day, so it's easy to get the impression that there's a trend of some sort happening.

and that was the proper strategy to take. Kings should take that same approach versus Kawhi tomorrow and just let him get his
