That's not entirely true - a lot of the elite talents come up on the same AAU teams and go to the elite prep basketball academies. There's competition and they are not as protected as Bagley was. It was one of the biggest concerns drafting him and I think its bearing our right now before our eyes.

It's all the same though. Now, with the advent of youtube these kids are being idolized and held up by the time they're 12 years old. Players that might not even make it in the league are getting the LeBron treatment. Players will do what we saw Harden do the other night. It just is what it is. They have all the power, they know it.

I agree with that but there are still kids that want to be coached and reach the next level. I actually thought Bagley was alright the first 3-4 games but something happened in Houston and yeah Luke's rotations don't help but when he gets canned, and he's on his way to not making it out of January right now, the message to Marvinland will be "I can get coaches fired"

Look, we can't really say yet he doesn't want to be coached and if he doesn't want to be coached by this jabroni then good, he's at least got a brain in there somewhere. And with that feeling he can now join the club with a few others at this point.
