He was put on the active roster so he could stand out on the court with his teammates for the tribute to Kobe. He was never going to actually play.

Now look, Cory Joseph isn't going to shoot like this from outside every night but having this kind of spacing is getting the Kings open looks at the highest percentage 3 possible in the short corner. THIS is the answer if there is one. The Kings start the play with a big on the box who then quickly rotates up and out in the off the pick and roll. Rarely are the Kings getting their shot with even a single player below the free throw line. That's how it needs to be EVERY SINGLE GAME. When the defense adjusts or is forced to go zone (how about that for a change!), you just keep driving and dishing, or start working the ball into the box through Barnes, Bagley, or even Nemanja. The only question is whether or not this is Luke, or Fluke. Will the real Luke Walton please stand up.

Haha. Screw that though, now we see how the Kings react when a good team makes a run. Do you panic and fall apart? That quick adaptability from these coaches we saw early in the season is about to be quizzed.
