Can’t imagine too many other commissioners entertaining KJ’s seemingly pie in the sky push to save the Kings. There would’ve been no chance without Stern.

I wasn’t high on Stern or the NBA after the 2002 crap and also Donaghy basically confirming it, but came full circle during the relocation ordeal. We may have been screwed out of a title, but we weren’t screwed out of our team. Mr. David J. Stern was among the biggest reasons why. Much thanks to the man and his stewardship of the league.

Sad news indeed. RIP.
