seems whenever the Kings get within 1 or tie it....Hornets score every single time in response. It seems they won't get over this hump

The Hornets are a bad matchup for the Kings. Their guards are too quick. The Kings have a lot more size than them but the Kings don't really take advantage very well for a mostly half court team. Again, they largely ignore the post. We'll see how they adjust with Fox back but I can't recall a team that played this much half court that had any real success without using the post much more effectively.
