Would you rather have Schroeder and Bol Bol or Adams and C Edwards ?

If the Thunder actually offer Adams/#21 for peanuts (meaning second rounders or Swanigan or something - they don't want a first back, or Giles, or Bogdan, etc.) then it's an absolute no-brainer and we need to jump on it.
Like you I'm not so keen on Schroeder but it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. If we really had a player we were targeting at #21 that had no chance of falling to #40 then I could stomach Schroeder as an expensive backup for two years, I guess, but if we turned an offer like that down, I wouldn't howl about it.
The question isn't really how good was he defensively, it's how bad was he offensively? The answer is "unplayable". .222 from three, .316 from the FT line...last year he played over 1000 minutes and made 8 threes (all assisted) and literally ZERO shots between 3 feet out and the 3-point line. None. His contract isn't that bad, and if he's the only way to get that #21, then I'm OK taking him and using him as a late-game defensive sub. But he's just got no O at all.

I would be good with Steven Adams and Schroeder plus the #21 for peanuts (i.e. Caleb or 2nd rounder), but Roberson would be pretty much dead weight on our roster, considering he's coming off major injuries too.
I don't think the Kings would need to take all 3 to get the #21, it seems too steep for a late 1st rounder IMHO. Not too many teams have the cap space to take such a salary dump, so OKC's options are limited. Those two would save OKC $40 million next year, not counting Luxury tax penalty.

I'm not sure anybody is suggesting that we take on both Adams AND Schroeder. If we are angling for the #21 pick, taking either should be plenty of financial commitment on our end.
If we did arrange a trade for Adams, it would almost certainly involve absorbing his deal into our cap space for next season, and as such wouldn't be able to be consummated until July 6th.

I would the Kings much rather go for Kevon Looney, good defender and pick and roll defender, quite agile and good rebounder and can play 4 or 5. Smart player and has alot of grit. I don't think he would command as much salary as Steven Adams since GSW seems to be in a situation where they need to pay multiple players the max...
Wasn't Adams benched sometimes during the playoffs because of his inability to defender the PnR or be effective on the perimeter and in transition? I feel with the way our team plays Kevon Looney would be a great player to sign and would give us some flexibility at PF/C with Giles/Marvin/Looney, keep in mind I still think we have Kosta.

Kosta is a free agent.
Looney is a very different player than Adams. For me the attraction of Adams is that he's a big bruiser C and we don't have anybody that can really body up the beef in the paint on the roster right now. Looney has put on some weight since he entered the league, but he's more of the PF type body, and a rotation of Bagley/Giles/Looney doesn't really have anybody that can put a body on a bruiser. But yes, safe to say Looney would be a lot cheaper.

While i really like the toughness of Adams amd otherwise would want him on my team, i think the best idea is to go after a guy that could bring some of what wcs brought (rim running/catching lobs in the pnr, and ability to move in order to defend even out to the perimeter), but also augment the kings in the areas he lacked (rim protection especially) Dedmon still seems like the best target for the kings. A slightly above average rim protector, but much better than wcs. A better defensive rebounder too, not to mention a solid rim runner (albeit not the jet that wcs is) and an elite outside shooter which wcs was not. He can keep up with the pace of the team which im mot sure adams is. If you want a bruiser, bring back Koufas. I really love his game as he is a good defender and rebounder and has the heft to contend with the big boys. He also has good a touch around the rim. He is far cheaper than Adams. I think that the team just plays too fast a style form adams to be relevant.
