Well, that didn't take long. You're mixing two things but I guess talking about our draft pick AND free agents is inevitable. Where are all the naysayers who were so blasted sure we were doomed because we won a couple of "meaningless" games? Had we not won those games, we wouldn't have been in the #7 slot...and wouldn't have moved up to #2. Funny how things work out. Some of you were miserable all year, whining about how bad our draft number was going to be. Others of us said "que sera, sera" and just enjoyed the moments when the kids showed the sparks of something special.

I'm feeling pretty good right now.

Some people may say a Doncic/Booker backcourt wouldn't be able to defend at a high level, but they may be thinking that Josh Jackson would guard opposing team's PGs while Booker takes opposing team's SGs and Doncic takes opposing team's SFs. That would allow Warren/Bender/Chriss to log time at PF and Bender/Capela (if they really want to max him) to get time at C.

I was 90% sure they'd be taking Ayton if they got the #1 pick.. but now with the hire of Igor? I'd say its 80/20 in favor of Doncic. Kokoskov is going to push for him hard.

Donicic is like a wizard on the court. If he get's taken at #1 I won't be upset, but Ayton coming in means WCS is going out.

Jackson is my favorite talent in this draft. His fit is iffy but you have to take BPA.
