KINGS! Summer League in Vegas! GM 1 7/7/17

NBA TV Then Sunday's game is on ESPN and then Monday against the Lakers is on NBA TV again.
If you don't have NBA tv like me, you can go to the ESPN Go app on your tv/roku/apple tv or whatever and watch it either live or a replay of it on there. If you don't have that capability, you can go to espn.com/watch and watch it either live or a replay afterward if you choose.

Most years when I watch summer league there's 2-4 guys I'm watching. Usually it's the previous year's 1st rounder, the recently selected 1st rounder and then maybe a 2nd round guy and/or an undrafted rookie like Moreland.
But this year? I'm glad the game is on TV so I can record and rewatch it. After all, the Kings could start a full lineup of guys I want to watch such as:
Fox
Hield
Richardson
Labissiere
Papagiannis
and then potentially have three MORE guys in Mason, Jackson, and Giles. And that's with Bogdanovic electing not to play. Crazy.
Most years I'd be really intrigued by a guy like Jakarr Sampson and this year he's a distant afterthought but still a potential signee since I believe rosters have now been expanded to 17.

I expect our players to dominate.. but we'll see(especially Papa on Bender). SL might be more fun than the regular season. After watch both the Orlando and Utah SL, I'm so glad for the Vegas SL. Those games were extremely hard to watch because some of those guys didn't even look GLeague caliber. In this game with the Suns, we're going to be watching at least 12 legitimate NBA players.

Those are the guys I'm looking forward to seeing most this year.
I wanna see if Giles looks healthy above all else, of course I'll want to see Fox, and I want to see if Malachi is building on his production from last year considering the injury.
Buddy and Skal have done enough that Summer League won't change my opinion of them either way.

I grew up less than 30 minutes from where Dominique Hawkins grew up plus he is a Kentucky Wildcat. I'd love to see him play well and get a contract somewhere else. He is a ferocious defender that can jump out of the gym but offensively his game does not utilize that athleticism. If a team could teach him to use that he would be a pretty nice player
