People who have the image of Giles as the bench big for Duke should probably remember that at one point in his high school career, there were scouts declaring that he'd be better than Karl Anthony Towns.
Just like Skal, if he pans out, he's an all-star (a less-offensively skilled KG). If he doesn't, well, we're still probably bringing over four other rookies and have three other legit big men prospects so no harm done.
He's 6'10" with a 7'3" wingspan, 9'3" standing reach, 32.5" max vert. To compare, Willie is 7' with the exact same standing rich and wingspan (his max vert is listed at 37' but it's important to note that Willie is possibly the single most athletic seven-footer in the history of the league) and Skal is 6'11.57" with a 7'2.5 wingspan, 8'9.5" standing reach (apparently he has a really tall head or really low shoulders) and a 35 inch vertical. Our frontline just got even more length than before.
Papa, by the way, doesn't have current measurements but as a youngster was reported to have a 7'6" wingspan, which is a little more proportional than those other guys but still just insanely long.
