Vlade basically said that if the Kings didn't move Cousins now, his value would've tanked. He said there was a better offer on the table 2 days ago, but they weren't ready to pull the trigger on Cousins. Maybe they were waiting to see if there were better offers out there?
You know, if this is true, and this was the best offer on the table, I'm fine with the terrible trade. It's obvious that Vlade didn't see a future with Cousins on the team. He just ended up taking the best offer available..which was a sucky offer. I'm ok with it.
I think we just over-estimated Cousins' value a lot.
