Huge missed call by the ref there. He had a bad angle on it.

The guy on the opposite side of where the foul would have been called it. He didn't see it.

I'm liking what I see in Ben Mclemore the past two games . He's showing a new fire and competitiveness in him we haven't seen before . Maybe Demarcus and Rondo is rubbing off on him

I think this game goes a long way toward Cousins trusting that Willie has his back. That is huge for futur geowth. Keep these two together and the paint is locked down on both ends until one retires.

In other news, what the heck happened to Jeff Teague? he was so beastly last season...this year he is stinking it up more often than not whenever I catch Atlanta play. Schroder has been getting his minutes down the stretch it seems.

And Ben appears to finally be growing into his role.

I've been disappointed in Collison a lot of nights (and I loved him last season) and I've been disappointed by Marco most nights.

This team just needs some outside shooting and patience/experience and I think there's really something building here.

I 100% agree with you there. Cuz was mugged all game long and the refs swallowed their whistles. It was garbage.

First gritty win of season with 39% FGs and 19 TOs shows our Kings can get down and dirty and scrap and claw when shots aren't falling....this is very good sign and credit to Willie and the rest of the guys for committing defensively.

Credit to Karl too for playing Quincy in the second half. I hope there is a spot for him in the rotation in the second half of the season. There has to be a place for a guy like him who just plays hard and creates possessions. Expanding the rotation from 9 to 10 players seems sensible to keep guys fresh.

Honestly ATL was missing some wide open looks. We sag off so much on perimeter shooters.

This might be a good time to point out that Ben hasn't taken a game off yet in his NBA career -- 205/205 games played. If nothing else, he's been putting in work. I think a taste of winning basketball has done wonders for him. Get in the playoff hunt, pull out some tough wins and you start to believe in yourself a little more. He's had games here and there throughout his career where he had an impact but he had a swagger today that I haven't seen from him before. Those two chase down plays in a row told me he came to win. I love to see that!

WCS is really a difference maker. For this team at least, the threat of the lob, offensive rebounds, being able to guard the perimeter in the switch and be effective, help defense. It's just like a lot of those holes in this team have magically been filled with him on the court. I can't remember the last time this team has had a player who just brings things to the table and doesn't take anything away

Which is my point. It was less about the team's defense and more about teams just not executing and taking advantage of their opportunities.

yea Grant can get irrational sometimes. I think everyone agrees with that. Although I did meet him twice(once in a grocery store)....He was a super super nice guy! Actually took the time to ask me how I was doing, and spent a couple of minutes to chat about the Kings and thanked me for my support as a fan.....His personality was far removed from the sometimes Shock Jockish personality you get on the radio.....
