[Game] Spurs @ Kings - 11/9/15 - 7 PT, 10 ET

I hate the run and gun offense and I hate iso offense as well. Coaches call it free flowing offense. I call it crap.

Ball movement is a beautiful thing to watch when there is purpose behind it. It's why I think the Thunder will never win anything, as talented as they are. They are iso heavy and in the playoffs defenses tighten up. They have arguably two of the top five players in the league and that is the only reason they can get away with a crap offense.

It's why the Spurs are still around, 1000 years later. Pop is a genius, but he uses a lot of logic as well.
Pop is a great Coach but having that guy Tim Duncan around has made his job a little easier.

We probably get to see WCS with Cuz now that we got our 3 big rotation back. WCS' length could give LMA fits....or not. I'm optimistic for tonight's game.

How do you think having tim would have worked if pop had him shooting 3s and the team focused on playing fast?
Tim would have been fine. How many games did cuz run around shooting 3s? 1 game and he was making them. It's not like he never posted up. How did Parker and ginobili do picking up the pace?

Cousins has taken more 3s in 2.5 games this year than Duncan has taken total in 14 of his 19 seasons.

In terms of pace, the Spurs have finished in the top 10 in pace twice in the last 15 years. When Tim was in his prime, they were consistently ranked in the mid 20s. They've sped up a bit as the team got younger and Tim was no longer the featured player but they still aren't focused on speed of play as a winning factor. It's a way to take better advantage of their best players. That's not the situation with us.

The game was different then. Cuz is no Duncan, the rest of the kings are no Spurs...cuz had career number under Karl last year...this is getting tiring. Karl is going nowhere get used to it

this is a big game for rondo who i feel rises to the occasion with piped against a star guard. Parker hasnt been what he was and i dont feel like euro did him any favours. If rondo can win the PG battle, Rudy slots back into his role as 2nd option and boogie shows minimal rust we will give this a good go.

Cousins is going off tonight... I also have a feeling Seth goes for 15 points/4 assists off the bench.
According to Kayte, Seth reinjured his ankle during warmups and will not be playing tonight. :(

It's gonna be a long night for Rondo.

FO should be on phone to add PG to roster, even just 10-day. This is ridiculous. If Rondo goes down Kings completely collapsed at the point.

Can't, for two reasons.
1) Roster is already full at 15.
2) 10-day contracts can't be signed until January.

Yeah, according to grant he was really distraught. He knows he was finally gonna get some meaningful playing time. I feel for the guy.
Yep this was his shot, if Collison comes back and we start winning some games he will have to wait his turn again. Of course there are SG minutes to be had...

Drummond has been fantastic; he does have the same shortcoming on offense that Davis does, though. Great finisher, just don't ask him to create. Also doesn't hurt that he has a coach who actually coordinates his offense around what he does well.

So which team will we see? The one with heart and hustle? Or the one that just doesn't seem to get it? Inquiring minds need to know...
I have seen several teams not named Kings with heart and hustle in town. You must be referring to those teams.
