Yeah, Cuz wants out. If things keep going this way, the organizations rep will be so badly damaged that the Kings will have problems just doing regular basketball business like signing free agents. That's Fegans strategy obviously. We can't really fire Karl without more turmoil and can't keep Cuz without more embarrassing leaks and rumors.

Two different things. It's a him or I situation. I'd wager if Karl was fired, these leaks stop. I personally don't care about any turmoil which would be involved in firing Karl. Correct the mistake. This crap isn't going anywhere and it's not just between Cuz/Karl, it's between Karl/Vlade too. The best way to ensure more turmoil and Cuz leaving is to sit back and "hope" things work out with Karl.

The chances that this has nothing to do with Cousins is becoming increasingly more unlikely. I am compelled to agree with those who have said that Cousins has the power to put this to an end. If he's not one hundred percent on board with what Fegan is (allegedly) doing, all he has to do is say, "Dan, stop this ****, or you're fired."

I won't. There is a non-zero percent chance that Cousins is, himself, willfully avoiding social media. There is NO chance that someone in Cousins' orbit, wherever he is, isn't updating him on what's going on. He knows. He might obfuscate, and claim he doesn't, but you can take it to the bank that he does.

Carmichael Dave had a good point.....the trade leaks happened right before the draft. This leak happened right before Free agency. Not signing FA's does not help Cuz. My first thought was PDA. I think he's beyond bitter and a weasel and I think it's him. What does he have to gain? How about not being able to sign a guy like Monta Ellis and we go looking for a deal for Lawson....how about he just wants to create problems for Sac.

As long as DMC does not come and starts boycotting or openly asking for a trade, which he did not do, I do not see any problem.

Vlade and Vivek are the ones that have all cards/contracts in their hands, and as long as they are not taking bait and staying firm (which they are doing), the only thing suffering are fans nerves ... and that is only temporarily until the season starts.

At least spot light is on Kings, which will make our glorious season next year impossible to ignore

Now we don't know anything for certain but the consensus guess going out right now is that this entire thing has been falsely planted by Fegan. This would now make twice, once the day before the draft and the second time the day before free agency, that Cousins' agent has dropped a big, fetid vat of fecal matter all over our franchise. It's an all-out PR war against our franchise. Barring some sort of move from Cousins to squelch this, we have to begin to conclude that Cousins puts his own interests (whether that be getting traded or getting Karl fired) over the dignity and reputation of our franchise. And you don't see a problem with this, as long as it's not done OPENLY?

Because the point is that there are an overwhelming number of Kings Fans who either legit don't know, or have decided to play the equivocation game, and say, "Well, we don't KNOW if Fegan is acting on Cousins' order, maybe Fegan is a lone wolf in this."

The reason why this is a problem is because everyone wants to believe that Cousins loves Sacramento, and is committed to Sacramento, but the actions of his agent suggest that he is putting himself over the team, which is directly contradictory to what he's said he stands for.
