[Game] Game 76: Kings v. Jazz, 4/5/15 - 6pdt, 9edt

Cooley looks bigger than I remember. Thought he was some shrimpy 6'7 PF who dominated college but everyone knew his game wouldn't translate. Looked about the same size as JT.

You know as much as I like Cousins for his basketball skills, I can't deny that sometimes he comes across as a very dislikable player on the court. He just won't stop whining and complaining even when he's clearly the one who fouled. And when he complains it's literally yelling at the ref, not just "discussing" it with em. Dude just shut up and play man.
I've never seen an elite player like Cousins not get calls of a continual basis. In fact it's quite the opposite.

To be fair. Dude is 3rd in the NBA in FTA and gets nearly 10 FTA/game. That's not NOT getting calls.
He also creates the contact a lot of the time - same reason why Tyreke Evans doesn't get many FTs when he goes into 3 guys in the paint. We saw that in the 1st quarter when he picked up the (clear) offensive foul basically trying to create contact against the defender. And while he gets hacked a lot, he also flops a lot (as do all guys who get loadsa FTs). So ... totally agree with you, it's not NOT getting calls.

Although considering the amount of contact he gets hit with every night, that's probably not as many FTs as he deserves.
It's similar to the Shaq principle. Shaq probably got fouled every time he got the ball in the post. Boogie isn't that dominant in the post, but similar in some ways.

He is an outstanding defender. He is very raw on the offensive end but has shown flashes of being able to take his man off the dribble.
Unfortunately all he's shown flashes of in this game is standing around and passing to his team mates with less than a second on the shot clock.
