Uh, what?
How did we do against this team last time?
Who coached us then?
Call me nutsy, but I seem to recall us playing them on the second night of a back-to-back, in their place, and beating them by five. And then we came home, two nights later, and beat the brakes off of them.

Screens, motion, ball movement with Cousins as the foundation. This is what We should be seeing from the Kings offense. Instead, we see quick shots, iso and standing around. I just don't get it.

Cuz with his best Josh Smith impersonation 2nigth blocking shots/getting assists getting destroyed by his man (yet another scrub he's given a career night to) and chucking up low % mid range jumpers.

what it looks like to me is just Denver out playing and out hustling Sacramento...they are getting their hands on balls and causing turnovers. This second half has been torture....I'll give them 2-3 more minutes and I'm out...not sure what happened in the locker room but I guess shots just stopped dropping and DeMarcus has been playing as if he is a shooting guard.

The only way to win this game is to post-up Boogie on every possession and when he has to sit have Collison, Ben, Nik, and Gay on the floor to try to spread the floor and hit 3's. GREAT defense is a must.

Who's chucking up random shots? Cousins.. Cousins has played pretty poor lately, but since he's our franchise player, he gets passes.

Today has been a terrible game for Cousins and it's not on coaching. I'm pretty sure that Coach isn't tell Cousins to go out there and take as many Js as he wants and not defend his man at a higher level.

Blaming the FO is pretty sad. When will the players ever be held responsible?

Exactly right but don't worry at least 10 people on here will come on and make excuses that it's he's still sick/the coaching and whatever else you can think off.

Of course it's on coaching! A good coach would call a timeout much earlier to straighten things out. A good coach would develop a cohesive game plan that works night in and night out. A good coach would sure as crap know not to try and play a game to the opposition's strength.

I don't know if Cousins is still sick, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. HOWEVER, when a player plays like crap and it shows, excuses should stop somewhere..

Blaming the FO consecutively for our players failing to play at a higher level is pathetic..

everytime Cousins shoots I cringe because that's exactly what Denver wants....oh and they keep scoring just about every time they have the ball

It's on the players. Players need to listen to what the coach says. Corbin can tell the guys a billion ways to do something, and they'll do it a trillion other ways.

+1.

As I mentioned waaaaay earlier in this thread, Cousins was a friggin monster under Malone, because Malone had him in the post. Now Cousins is just hanging out jacking contested 20 foot jumpers, like he used to under Westphail and Natt.

Cousins is still making great plays, and he's going to have an amazing box score, but he's played that kind of flawed game in a blow out loss that we were used to seeing in the crappy Magoof era.

Cousins is the engine to this team. We need his A game in order to complete. This game was pretty much a C+....

Not that this loss is all on him. Not even close. Denver is just making EVERYTHING and thats on the entire team.... I'm just trying to make the point that this team, as constructed, only wins when we get THE BEST out of Cousins. And Malone was getting THE BEST out of Cousins.

Seriously? You're just never going to be satisfied with Cousins, until he shoots 60+ percent, on nothing but dunks and hook shots, are you? I ask because I can't remember the last time you ever criticized Cousins when you weren't talking about shots.

If I had to make a list of everything that's gone wrong tonight, Cousins wouldn't make the Top 25.

A good player would have stopped shooting mid range jumpers when he's killed the entire NBA in the paint the entire year, that's why Josh Smith is not regarded as a good player.
