Of course it's on coaching! A good coach would call a timeout much earlier to straighten things out. A good coach would develop a cohesive game plan that works night in and night out. A good coach would sure as poopoo know not to try and play a game to the opposition's strength.

As I mentioned waaaaay earlier in this thread, Cousins was a friggin monster under Malone, because Malone had him in the post. Now Cousins is just hanging out jacking contested 20 foot jumpers, like he used to under Westphail and Natt.
Cousins is still making great plays, and he's going to have an amazing box score, but he's played that kind of flawed game in a blow out loss that we were used to seeing in the crappy Magoof era.
Cousins is the engine to this team. We need his A game in order to complete. This game was pretty much a C+....
Not that this loss is all on him. Not even close. Denver is just making EVERYTHING and thats on the entire team.... I'm just trying to make the point that this team, as constructed, only wins when we get THE BEST out of Cousins. And Malone was getting THE BEST out of Cousins.
