I see we gone back to physical play and drawing a ton of fouls

The game plan has involved a lot of Cousins and he is just getting hacked every time down low. If they called every foul committed Nick Collison, Ibaka, and Perkins would all be out of the game.

Malone flashbacks and the squad looking more smash-mouth.

Even if you want to be pedantic and argue that it's not "really" smash-mouth, this team plays better when we play ugly.

I'd like to see Ben work on catching the ball right at the 3 point line as opposed to a few feet back. When he catches the ball way out there, he doesn't pose any type of threat. If he caught it at the 3pt line, he'd be a threat to either drive or shoot at a moments notice. And speaking of the devil, what a hustle play, Ben!!

Here's the thing about tonight's game. The offense looks the same as under Malone. Defense too. So what was the point of firing him?

The Kings could still be in the playoff hunt and still have a young coach to grow with to build consistency and continuity.

I'm generally very positive about Rudy, and I'm not trying to be too tough on him. I'm just trying to point out he's taken some ineffective shots.

I'm not sure what I've said in the past about Rudy to make you think i'm one of many who are way too tough on him, but I love the guy and he's one of my favorite Kings.

Just based on that scenario, there doesn't even seem to be rivalries anymore with so many of these players getting too buddy-buddy with one another and signing on the same team. It's funny how some of them who are buddies on opposing teams publicly announce how they are a rivalry. THAT'S NOT HOW RIVALRIES WORK!

OKC is definitely helping us out tonight. Where teams usually jump on us during our lapses, OKC seems to make a mistake right after we do. I'll take it.

We frustrated them early and they haven't bounced back from it. Sound familiar?

Wonder how PDA reacts to our best game since the firing being the one which looks by far the closest to what we had under the guy he fired.
