[Game] Game 31: Sacramento Kings @ Brooklyn Nets - 12/29/14 - 430 pst 730 est

I don't believe that offer would have gotten us Plumlee. At minimum, it would have to have included BMac.
Yea the Nets were hesitant to trade him which is probably why the trade didn't go down. But a lot of people at the time saw Plumlee as an average big who gets little minutes.

I think this will be the last game I watch until something changes. I can't take this. If Cousins and Rudy aren't on the court, I don't even have a prayer of us keeping any game close with the "style" we are playing now.

I don't think it's a problem with Corbin as much as it is with the hierarchy pushing him to play a certain style of basketball that will NEVER win in the NBA. Never has and never will. Corbin is not to blame here, its Vivek, PDA and Mullin for shoving this bullpoopoo down our throats. The only person who knew how to win with this team was Malone and he got sacked because we were not "sexy enough"!
While you're right, I'm not absolving Corbin. In my perfect world, Corbin would be on the side of the players, refusing to buy into the style changes. There's no reason for us to have to watch what we're watching. None.

Remember when people cursed at FO for trying to improve our PG position and trade for Plumlee? Yea...
No. I recall rumors of taking on an over-rated PG with a mammoth salary that would've hamstrung the org worse than it already is. Deron Williams is a defensive liability, is a mediocre shooter and an attitude problem. Last thing this team needs is him and a $20MM salary.

I wonder how many FT's the Kings have in this game...if I heard correctly, was it only 11 attempts? wow considering they were or are top 3 in attempts that tells me the aggression isn't there or something has got to give.

This just ticks me off. We were getting to the line at will early this season. AT WILL!

Apparently, Not any one with a dime in his pocket, can be a successful owner.

What was bad in the previous coach, that steadied the ship and with an healthy cousins led the kings to it best performance, since forever.

There was a stable team game.
There was a stable defense.
There was a PO possibility.

Cousins, Gay, Collins, Ben, Casspi, were all stable and a team unit...

Why to change?!

I agree with this principle, in the abstract. But, at some point, we're becoming very cavalier with Tyrone Corbin's career, and his ability to provide for his family. I mean, yeah, it would be awesome to have a guy willing to stand on principle against this ridiculousness, but Corbin then has to turn around and try to get another job, only now with the reputation of a guy who is openly defiant to his boss.
